   Lash Gym In A Tube: From Barely There To Big Hair Energy

   I picked up this dual-wand, black-and-brown mascara duo thinking I was getting a tiny lash wardrobe in two tubes, and in a way, I did. The brown shade lets me fake “I woke up like this” on work days, while the black is there for when I want my eyelashes to announce themselves before I do. The whole pitch is a 2-step system in one tube: one end for length and definition, the other for full-on drama and volume. For the price, getting two colors and two brush styles feels like raiding the value bin and somehow finding something that actually looks chic.The packaging had me feeling clever until I tried to actually open it and briefly lost a thumb wrestling with that gold middle piece. At first, I honestly thought the “two-step” part was just how far I shoved the wand into the tube, because the second brush refused to unscrew like it was guarding nuclear codes. Once I finally cracked the code, I found the skinny defining wand tucked under the cap and the chunky, bushy volume brush on the other side. It’s a neat concept: one wand passes through a tighter wiper for a lighter coat, the other skips the filter and loads up product for instant thick-lash energy.On the lashes, the “natural” side behaves like that friend who promises to help you move and then carries one pillow. The formula feels lightweight and comfortable, and on upper lashes it can give a soft, everyday look, especially in brown. But the product likes to clump at the tip of the thin wand, so I end up with some lashes politely coated and others acting like they’ve been dunked headfirst in ink. Length and curl are pretty subtle on me, and on lower lashes I’ve seen the occasional smudge and some flaking as the day goes on, which is not the vibe when I’m trying to look wide-awake.Flip to the chubbier brush and suddenly my lashes are at a Vegas residency. The thicker wand spreads product much more evenly from root to tip, adds real volume, and can push my already-long lashes into “are those falsies?” territory, especially with a few coats of the black. It hangs on all day without sliding down my face, and it stands up well for long wear or a night out. But the formula can run a little wet out of the tube, so if I don’t blot the brush first, I’m one blink away from an abstract eye-shadow mural, and the full effect can be heavier than I want for a low-key, natural look.Removal is where this mascara redeems some of its drama. The formula behaves like a tubing-style hybrid: it clings well during the day, resists random smearing, yet it slips off cleanly with warm water or a proper cleanser without demanding a full exorcism of my lash line. My eyes stay comfortable, and I don’t get that burning or stinging that makes me question my life choices. In the end, I treat this set like a tiny lash toolkit: brown for office-face, black and the big brush for nights and photos, and a bit of patience for the slightly fussy opening and occasionally moody formula. If I want absolutely flawless consistency, I might reach for something else, but for a two-color, multi-look mascara at this price, I’m surprisingly entertained.

   Great Mascara Set With Good Length and Volume

   This mascara set ended up being much better than I expected for the price. Both the black and brown shades look really nice, and the 2 step formula does a good job adding both length and volume without making lashes feel heavy or stiff. The fiber effect gives lashes a fuller look without looking overly dramatic or clumpy.One thing I really liked was how long lasting it is. It holds up well throughout the day without smudging or flaking everywhere, even after long hours. The waterproof formula actually works, but it still removes fairly easily with makeup remover without needing to scrub your eyes.The brush design also makes application pretty easy and helps separate lashes well. Overall, really solid quality for the money with good pigmentation, long wear, volumizing effect, and nice color variety between the black and brown mascaras. Definitely a great everyday mascara set.

   Good value for a two pack of mascara but average performance overall.

   I ordered this 2-in-1 mascara set because the mascara I had been using was getting old and clumpy after sitting around too long. The two-pack of brown and black mascara appealed to me since I prefer brown for everyday wear and black when I want a more dramatic nighttime look. Also, this set was a good value.Each tube contains 0.32 fluid ounces of product. The tubes have a nice appearance. The main feature advertised is the “2-step” application system. At first, it was a little confusing because I could not unscrew the gold part with the second wand no matter how hard I tried. I thought for awhile that the effect was supposed to come from how far you inserted the wand into the tube, but eventually I was able to unscrew the gold piece to access the second wand.The set actually includes two different applicators with noticeably different effects. The first wand is thinner and passes through a filter, which removes more product and is meant to give a lighter, more natural look. The second wand is a much chunkier, bushier brush that does not pass through the filter and applies a much thicker coat of mascara for a more volumizing effect.For the first wand, I didn’t find it to be that impressive on its own. The mascara tended to collect heavily near the tip of the wand, while the rest of the brush only had a light coating. I didn’t had much issue with clumping when I used it on my upper lashes, and it did give a soft natural look, but the application felt uneven. The mascara builds up in certain areas instead of coating the lashes evenly from root to tip. I also didn’t notice much lengthening or curling effect at all. I do have naturally long lashes already, so it usually doesn’t take much mascara to make them stand out, but this first wand really did not add much enhancement for me. I also experienced occasional clumping and smudging on my lower lashes, along with the same issue of uneven application. I also experience some flaking.On the positive side, the formula feels lightweight, and it removes easily with warm water. It’s probably best suited for someone who wants a very soft, natural everyday look.The second wand, however, performs much better in terms of visible results. The thicker, bushier brush gives a more even coating on the lashes and creates noticeably more volume. It spreads product more uniformly from root to tip and makes the lashes look fuller. That said, it is a bit too heavy for my taste.    Love this mascara, No clumps, almost looks like lash extensions

   I am really loving these mascaras so far. They truly are clump free and waterproof, and you definitely need an actual eye makeup remover or even a little baby oil to get them completely off at the end of the day.Each tube has two different brushes, which I think is really cool. The thicker brush is perfect for laying down your first coat and building that base, and then the slimmer brush lets you feather and separate your lashes so they look extra long. The formula stays put all day even in the heat. I was out in the sun and got a little sweaty and it still did not run or smudge.I am someone who loves a dramatic lash look, almost to the point where my lashes look fake, and with this mascara I do not even need a ton of layers to get that effect. It builds beautifully without clumping and gives great length and volume with very little effort.Also worth noting you get two tubes, You get black and brown.. I’m using the black right now and I love it I have not used the brown yet.Overall, I would definitely recommend it. It performs way better than I expected, and the double brush design makes it really easy to get the exact look you want.

   Fun concept, but a little tricky to master

   I’m always up for trying new beauty products, so I was excited to test out this 2-in-1 mascara. It’s an interesting concept, but I have to say, it’s a bit of a mixed bag.The instructions didn’t really specify whether you’re supposed to layer both steps or just pick one, so I went ahead and tried both. The first brush actually creates a really nice, defined look on its own. However, I found that adding the second coat made things get pretty clumpy. Even if you’re comfortable with makeup, this one felt a little fussier than it should be. It also smudges easily, and fair warning, it’s definitely not the easiest to wipe off your eyelids once you make a mistake.There’s also one little design quirk: the bottle is super rounded, so it won’t stand up on its own. You have to lay it down between applications, which is a little annoying if you’re trying to keep your vanity tidy.If you decide to give it a shot, I’d suggest trying the brushes individually instead of layering them to see if that helps with the clumping. When you’re doing your lower lashes, stick to just using the tip of the brush—but definitely keep a clean-up tool nearby just in case. It’s a creative idea, but it’s probably going to take a little trial and error to get the application down perfectly.

   Pretty decent

   First I love the packaging and shape of the tube. The colors are definitely distinct when you open them. The brush itself is wide and round like a barrel at the center. It’s easy to apply but I personally have trouble reaching the inner corner of my eyes with the wand since it’s pretty bulky.I didn’t realize this is the mascara that doesn’t smear and wear off. It’s like pulling strips off your eyelashes. Kinda cool. Not too sure how to remove it properly just have to be super gentle so I don’t pull out eyelashes. I didn’t notice a difference in the colors on my eyelashes as I already have dark hair.The wand did give me good volume. Not bad. It did something for sure. I like that it’s a duo so I keep the spare in my daily purse.

   One tube offers many looks, slightly wet formula

   Okgkauai’s 2 in 1 mascara has two brushes layered on top of each other in the same mascara tube. It offers two different looks— one with defining bristles, one with a full, voluminous brush.I liked the innovation of this product and appreciated the innovation of having two different types of brushes included. They product separate looks and it is nice to just have one mascara tube open, given how quickly they need to be rotated.The brush on the top of the tube elongates lashes. The lower brush produces a full, glamorous effect.I removed one star because when I first applied product out of the tube, the formula was so wet it smeared a little. I would recommend blotting the brush a little before applying it to the face.
