It’s a decent set. The various items arrived in bubble wrap with no additional packaging, so this would require some extra steps to be giftable (deducting one star for this). I don’t know what makes this a “bachelorette” item other than how travel-friendly the selections are, which is an incredibly specific branding choice that probably limits purchases more than anything. That said, I think the $70 price is a little high for the size of products you’re getting, though diversity and quality of the items does seem high.I’m deducting one additional star due to the tinted sunscreen. While this suits my skin tone reasonably well, I don’t think this would blend well for very fair or very dark skin – which makes the listing a bit misleading in claiming this set would “flatter every skin tone”.

Great kit with amazing things for all skin types
I am a big fan of this set and I’m so happy I ordered it, I would honestly order this as a gift for someone else because I think these products would benefit and compliment most skin types and tones. The tinted moisturizer is not very tinted at all, but it smells minty, delicious, goes on smoothly and has sunscreen in it (which is a must for me). The julep stick is beautiful on lips or cheeks. I use it on both and it adds just a touch of color and a nice highlighed glow. The highlighter stick is great for eyes, and I like it in the corners and it really makes the eyes pop. The lip gloss looks like it will be very red, but it really isn’t, it goes on pretty light and it smells nice and is moisturizing. I admit I have not tried the serum or the face mask yet but the quality of everything I have tried is very high.

It comes in a clear bubblewrap bag. It doesn’t look that fancy, but it kept everything nice looking inside 🙂 Everything came in a box and was brand new, but I forgot to take pictures before hand…doh! It’s a really nice, high quality set 🙂 I think these are all full-sized items. At least the pink bliss moisturizer is 🙂 I like the variety of items. Like, I didn’t know that bliss had a tinted sunscreen before!Bliss Tinted Daily Mineral Sunscreen: It smells familiar. I think it kind of smells like lemongrass. It’s very pink but when I rub it into my skin, it disappears and does look pretty natural. It makes my skin look more matte and definitely smooths out the color. It’s not greasy at all. I like the way it feels. It’s a lot nicer than I thought! Oh, and it’s not drying at all.Bliss Glow & Hydrate: This feels nice and isn’t greasy at all. The scent is hard to pin down. It doesn’t smell exactly like it, but the closest I can describe it as is Sw*etTarts with a hint of something floral. I was stumped so I asked someone else in the house and they said it smelled good, like rosewater. It doesn’t smell like rosewater at all, though. It absorbs quickly and my face isn’t dry in the morning. It hasn’t given me a rash or irritation. I like it :)Julep Beauty So Plush (rosy glow): This looks more like a darker coral to me than a rosy blush. It smells like the lightest of mints. I can smell it when it’s on my lips. I like the way it feels. It is a tad sticky, though. I like the slight tingle. It makes my lips really glossy. It doesn’t add color to my lips, even though I put two coats on. It’s pleasant. It also didn’t irritate my skin at all.Julep Beauty Skip the Brush (rose gold): This is warm toned, but it doesn’t look that horrible on me so it must be pretty close to neutral. I put it on my lips and it’s not greasy or heavy at all. I mean, I can feel it on my lips, but it doesn’t bother me (sticky, greasy, gooey really bothers me). It doesn’t dry my lips like a lot of things do. It shimmers gold.Julep Beauty Eyeshadow 101 (champagne shimmer): It feels nice to put it on. It’s like smooth and then I can’t feel anything. It’s a very light color and it looks nice on the inner corners of my eye. It’s really easy to use so I think I’ll be using this for a while.Nice!

Great variety of (almost) universal items
I’m blown away by this set. When I ordered, there were no photos or reviews, just a description of the types of items you’d be getting – not even the exact product names. It didn’t say anywhere that they were minis, but they also didn’t specify that they’re full-size products, either, so I really had no idea what I was going to get…which kind of made it fun, because I love and use Bliss products already, and I am familiar with Julep and have used products from them in the past (great nail polishes!). When it arrived, I was stoked to see that these are full-sized products. I mean, for $70, it should stand to reason they would be, but one can’t assume anything these days.I already use the Bliss serum, and I needed a restock, so this was kind of awesome to just be able to grab that at a discount, but I’ll absolutely use the sheet mask, and I’ve been wanting to try the sunscreen. (The cap to the sunscreen is a nightmare and I don’t think I’d buy it again for that reason alone. Now I don’t have to waste money trying it. If it’s an amazing sunscreen that I wind up not being able to live without, I would just untwist the cap, rather than fight with the cap that doesn’t want to release from the inner dispenser nozzle. It also doesn’t want to go back on without a fight, and my tube is a disaster before I’ve even taken off the seal to try it.)As far as the makeup items are concerned, there’s nothing in this set that I wouldn’t use on a day/night I’m doing my face (which is rare), I don’t think this is specific to a wedding or any one function. When I do wear any makeup, it’s these more subdued shades, so I do think the colors chosen were a good choice. They’re all maybe a little pinker than I’d prefer, but, for the most part, I think they’re pretty good picks. I don’t know who Laura Elizabeth is, but good on her because these seem like they’d work on a multitude of ages and skin tones. This review is for the “Lauren Elizabeth Bachelorette Makeup Kit | Travel Sized Hydrating Skincare & Makeup Set for Long Weekend, Bachelorette Trips, and More | Includes Julep Eyeshadow & Bliss Serum Skincare.”This makeup/skincare set includes three Bliss items: a single hydrating sheet mask ($4), glow & hydrate nourishing day serum (30 mL/1 oz, $30), and Block Star tinted mineral sunscreen (SPF 30, 40 mL/1.4 oz, $25); plus three Julep items: So Plush lip oil in rosy glow (7 g/0.25 oz, $12), Skip the Brush lip/cheek stick in rose gold (6.5 g/0.22 oz, $18), and Eyeshadow 101 stick in champagne shimmer (1.4g/0.04 oz, $18). If you’re doing the math with me, that totals to $107 if you bought all six at full price, so the current price of $70 is spendy but not that bad – provided you love everything in the set. And these are small items but they are the regular, full size – not a special sample or travel size. The eyeshadow and blush sticks are particularly useful for travel, though, because they don’t require a brush to apply.The serum is really nice on my skin (I’ve used other Bliss items in the past and really like the brand), and the sunscreen goes on like a primer (probably the silicones in it). The mask is a single use mask that comes in two halves – a top section for your forehead, nose, and around the eyes, and a lower section for your cheeks and chin. It was refreshing but I didn’t notice any real changes in my skin, for better or worse.The Julep makeup trio is nice but best for fair skin because the items are all pretty light shades. The eyeshadow is a nice gold-toned champagne and lasts fairly well without creasing, the lip/cheek stick is a peachy pink that works much better as blush than lipstick because of how pale it is, and the lip oil is a nice translucent rose pink with mint in it to make your lips tingle. I’ve included a picture of all three on my wrist so you can see them on my skin.All in all, a nice set!
