A bloody good set that creates scary realistic gore! 🩸😦
I had a zombie cheerleader, a dead bride, and a serial killer on my hands this past Halloween, so we needed blood and lots of it! Thankfully, we were fortunate enough to give Bowitzki’s stage blood kit a try. The kit comes in a sturdy, professionally-designed, full-colour, and rather scary lift-top box, which not only makes the kit easy to access, but also makes it quite giftable, if you know a zombie who has an unbirthday coming up. LOL. Inside the box you get a 50 ml bottle of blood, a 50 ml bottle of spray blood, a 30 ml tub of coagulated blood, and three application sponges.The containers are clear with white tops and are made of plastic. They are good quality, so they don’t bend or dent while you are using them. All of them are well-sealed so you can be assured that the product they contain is not contaminated in any way. One bottle of blood has a squeeze-top applicator while the other has a spray-top. The blood has been made using corn syrup and is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, paraben-free, vegan, eco-friendly and cruelty-free. The fake blood has been designed to be non-irritating to sensitive skin, so it’s perfect for use on children. The colour and the thickness of these blood products are very convincing. This blood washes off skin easily with soap and water and also comes out of fabrics without staining by using the wet and dab method with soap and water. The sponges are pretty small at about 2” x 1” and come in 3 different densities, each giving you different effects.We had a bloody good time using this set! Even though we were on a mission to get out trick-or-treating and had time restraints, using this blood still felt like playtime. We enjoyed experimenting with the different types of blood, as well as the sponges, and marveled at just how realistic this stuff is! Our serial killer LOVED the spray blood as it gave him an easy way to make blood-spattered clothes for himself. The bride and the zombie were most impressed with the coagulated blood, because it gave them a way to make the realistic, gory wounds of their nightmares. We wound up applying the coagulated blood with a small rounded brush that we had on hand for face makeup and that worked well to layer the product to make the grossest wounds possible. If you layer enough of the coagulated blood, you can kind of peel some of it back to make your open wound look like it has bloody skin surrounding it. We found that the bottle of blood with the squeeze-top applicator worked best for dripping blood. We had so much fun with this set that I wish we had done a test run before Halloween so we would’ve had time to experiment a little more so we would know what we were doing when the big day arrived. I doubt that this set will last til next Halloween, but we plan to play a little bit more with this set before it needs to be tossed.At $14.99 regularly, this set is definitely worth every penny. I will most definitely buy this set again next year and won’t even quibble about paying full price for it as it is just that impressive! So, if you are looking for fake blood for your costuming needs, or perhaps you are making a video that requires blood, or maybe you are putting on a play that could use some Kensington Gore on the set, this little kit has got you covered! Worked well for a jail training. Does stain skin for a few hours but comes off. It on clothes it took 2 washes and a special stain spray but comes off also

I bought this for me and my husband’s Halloween costumes this year and it worked very well. The drip combined with the spray made for pretty realistic blood. It dried quickly, and washed off easily in the shower

Works fine, but make sure you wont accidentally spill it on something, including casework or doors. It will stain it and it’s very hard to remove it
