This kit contains a lot of products for very many looks. The coagulated blood and modeling wax are a great combination for some spooky looks. The blood does congeal nicely. The quality of the set seems pretty good. It was great of them to include the tools and brushes to apply everything in one kit. I do wish there were more colors instead of all the repeats though.

This Halloween kit has everything you need to create spooky looks, from fake blood to prosthetics. I loved using it to add realistic cuts and bruises for our Halloween party. The tools are easy to use and wash off easily. The only downside is the wax can be tricky for beginners.

I used the face paint only on half of my son’s face. Paint is great! But I’m not happy that he’s skin reacted to it like this. His face never reacted to face paint like this…

Fully stocked kit…
This face paint kit is packed with a generous amount of items at a reasonable price. It would be nice if the package included a case of some sort to store the items in after use (as the product box is rather difficult to repack once it is unboxed), but it’s not a deal breaker by any means.Each colour of paint was easy to apply to the skin and has a smooth texture for the most part; however, I would recommend applying the makeup with the included paint brushes instead of the default applicator in each paint set. We instead used the applicators for mixing colours, but ultimately found that the brushes worked better for the actual face painting.One slight downside is that many of the colours repeat themselves rather than providing different colours that are pre-mixed. The intention is to obviously blend the colours yourself as needed, but it still would have been beneficial to have a broader variety of colours & shades.The skin putty is probably my favourite item in the kit, as it reminds me of the “fake skin” putty that we used to buy as kids. It moulds and blends really well with the included metal putty knife, and although the quantity doesn’t look like much, a little does go a long way — and it will take you no time at all to create a convincing wound with the different consistencies of fake blood that are also included.The remaining items are for more specific use cases (depending on your costume choice), but they do a good job at rounding out the set and making it feel more like a complete makeup fx kit…So if you have multiple people in your household hoping to dress up this spooky season — big or small — this collection is perfect for putting the finishing touches on almost any costume you can think of.

All wax based, leaked product
I would purchase this for children, someone learning/for fun, but not for professionals or someone who wants their face paint to last. It’s also harder to use, the quality is definitely halloween.I was really excited when I realised they were creamy.Sadly they’re not just cream based but waxy and you can smell it. It’s really strong.The colours are fun, you can easily mix up your own shades. They are buildable. They also wipe off really easily – leaving a waxy residue.The actual set is fantastic for the price, you get a huge array of items and enough paints to keep multiple children happy. The brushes are assorted sized so they’re really decent for painting with – they’d be better used for normal waterbased face paints VS cream.The sponges are great to build texture.Diamontes are a bonusFake blood – there are two different types, and they also have fake blood for your teeth. Sadly one of our tubs leaked everywhere when the parcel arrived, before we had even opened it. It’s really sticky, too, and awful to get off your skin. It’s fine for halloween/dress up, just be warned its annoying to remove.Paints and blood stains skin and fabricScar wax – fab. It’s not as great as other brands, but it does the job, you just need to warm it up and really get used to it. It’s a buildable thing. The sculpting knife that comes with it is fab and adds ease to application.Overall I would purchase again, but for my kids to play with, not for myself. And even then they were disappointed it kept wiping off easily and smelled.
