Well rounded SFX kit
I have used Bowitzki face paints in the past, and had good to excellent results with them especially considering the price point. This SFX kit was right in line with my very good quality expectations. The cream colors go on smooth and opaque, are suitable for blending, and have great staying power. Being a cream style makeup you will need a setting product, or be mindful for smearing or transfer as cream makeup doesn’t really dry. The fake blood products are easy to get realistic looking results with some layering, but again they don’t really dry well for the most part and will transfer. The blood gel and cream makeups do have a certain stickiness to them, but that is just the nature of the beast and can’t be avoided.I really appreciate the full set of tools that allow for precise application, layering, blending, and mixing. All in all this is a well rounded SFX kit that works great, and there is enough product to use for several applications.
