The lengthening was mild, not much curling. But the double ended brush is great.
I like the double ended wand, which is designed to “get to” all the lashes from the teeny tiny baby lashes to the longer ones. It’s pretty easy to use, although the wands don’t really “grab” a lot of mascara at once. They do an okay job of depositing it on my lashes but definitely not the best.In the end, it’s all about whether my lashes look better: Longer and curlier etc. And, while they do look marginally longer, I didn’t get much in the way of curl enhancement. And the length is pretty negligible. I would say maybe this mascara is good at separating but not really good at making the most of your lashes. Maybe I just need a mascara that does more thickening. But if this did enough length I would honestly be happy with it, it’s just not enough of a difference for me personally.

Tears Off Your Lashes When Trying To Clean It
It’s not easy at all to remove. Ives used mine twice because of this. It takes off lashes when you clean it properly. It did not state waterproof when I bought it otherwise I could not have purchased it. And the small wand is useless.

Interesting applicator idea, but the thin side wins it
I ordered this Carslan mascara specifically because I was intrigued about the 2 sided applicator.First I will say I was a bit perturbed as the directions/warnings/ingredients were all in Chinese so I had to go back to the items page to find out any information (like which brush was intended for what).The thinner brush is straight and thin. It holds minimal product that easily applies to my lashes. The result was darker, more pronounced lashes, that appeared a bit longer. There was no clumping or flaking and wore well all day long. Most importantly I did not have that overdone, fake, caterpillar on my eye look. I loved it.The second brush is curved and thick. The product clings to the crevices. It went on easily, but did appear to provide that clumping style that some people, not me, like. It wasn’t flaky but not as natural looking. It also wore well all day.The applicator itself was a fail for me. Since the product is in the ends, it is awkward to open the thinner wand side. It’s also awkward to hold, since you are holding a fat tube by your face and nose, vs just the wand.I needed to use a heavy eye makeup remover to get this off in the evening when using the curved wand. There was flaking and rubbing involved and extra rinsing which I didn’t like. When using the thin applicator my normal face wash did the trick.Overall, I loved the thin applicator. It’s exactly what I was hoping. The look, the feel, everything but the bottle.Im glad I tried it, and will finish using it, but only the thin wand side. I do think its a good product and a good value, it just wasn’t a match for my wants overall.

Long lasting dual use mascara
I was intrigued by the dual-brush design, and it actually makes a noticeable difference in how my lashes look. One side does a great job separating and lengthening, while the other adds curl and a bit more volume. The formula isn’t too wet or too dry, so it goes on smoothly without clumping. I like that I can build it up for a more dramatic look or keep it light for everyday wear. It dries fairly quickly, which helps prevent smudges on my upper lids. Once set, it holds the curl well throughout the day without flaking. My lashes still feel soft, not crunchy or stiff like some volumizing mascaras. The black color is deep and makes my eyes look more defined without looking overdone. Removal at the end of the day is recommended with makeup remover or a cleansing balm/oil. This is a versatile mascara that gives you control over both length and curl in one product.

Love the tiny brush, but kinda awkward to hold
I have mixed feelings about this mascara. I like the idea of having the two brushes. On one hand, I love one of the brushes, but I find the base/canister a little bit awkward to hold.So, yeah, I really love the tiny brush. I’ve never tried one like this, and it does such a lovely job of giving my lashes definition and a little separation. It’s also easy to get to the inner and outer lashes. The other side of the brush is fairly standard and works as expected.However, since the barrel (with the mascara in it) is still attached to the brush (because it’s in the middle) and it is very thick, it is a little bit cumbersome. The formula is nothing game-changing, but also generally reliable. I like that it isn’t a waterproof formula, because my eyes are sensitive, particularly to waterproof formulas. Though I have some dryness after a couple of hours with this one, fortunately, it doesn’t make my eyes itchy or blotchy.As a note, the English instructions are on the outside wrapping. I, of course, threw it out already and forgot to take a photo of it. So, just note to do that if you want to keep the instructions around.
