    Made my lightest gray soft blonde

    Love this chestnut mask and the shampoo to turn my hair a soft blonde color. I used a clarifying shampoo (Paul Mitchell Shampoo 2) then the henna shampoo for several minutes, cool rinse, towel dried, applied chestnut mask for 5 minutes, cool rinse – and my old lady hair is a soft warm beige blond color. Noticeable change. I reviewed the blonde shade of this product – also worked but more of a pale platinum color. My hair is undyed, curly, naturally porous light silvery gray. After use feels like more body to hair. Turned out quite nice! The key to this working is the clarifying shampoo used first in hot water to prepare the hair to absorb the color.
