Jury Still Out… So Far So Good!
My daily grooming routine is extremely minimal. I rarely wear makeup, and typically stick with low maintenance hairstyling. One part of my routine I’ve been itching to improve is my brow maintenance. I have a very light brown/dark blonde cool tone to my hair, and my brows are even slightly lighter. Due to a health issue, my eyebrows tend to be fairly thin as well. I wear glasses and like my eyes as-is, but brows are so important for framing the face, even if you wear glasses like me.I’ve tried clear brow gel in the past, but it was the true gel texture kind. While it did slightly darken and define my brows, the gels I tried did not have very good wear and ended up flaking off.When this brow gel became available to me, I had to try it. Based on the descriptors it seemed like it would be a different experience. That is definitely the case! This brow gel feels more like a gel-wax hybrid; I swatched some on my hand first before applying it, and it almost felt silky. It dries quickly, but allows you to tweak hairs using the built-in brush to get them to lay exactly how you want them. The wand is not my favorite, because I typically prefer an angled spoolie, but it is adequate for applying the gel. To get the true laminated look you definitely need to use the included brush, otherwise your brows will just have an overall light, fluffy hold.This is definitely not a strong-hold gel! It is meant to give you some flexibility to make adjustments as needed. It also is not meant to be buildable from my experience so far. This gel-wax is a soft, light hold, subtle product for those who like a more natural look. Good for what I was looking for!The fact this brow gel comes in a 2 pack is great, because it gives you adequate time to get used to it and really test it out correctly.

Goes on easy, doesn’t flake
I like that it comes with the dial brush so I have all in one brow care for on the go. I scrape some of the product back off into the tube before applying so it’s easier to apply sparingly. I don’t need a lot and I want it to last. A little goes a long way. It tames my brows and doesn’t flake off. I like that it’s clear so I can add color with my wax pencil just in the little spots that need a line or two instead of the whole thing. I’m new to brow laminate but this is pretty user friendly for newbs like me.
