Good product, good value
I actually like this product better than Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer. Unlike the Hourglass that tends to separate in the bottle and “grab” foundation color and look patchy on the skin, the Covergirl primer is smooth and delivers an even finish. It is even good on its own for adding a light finish without foundation.

Beats ANY expensive primer out there!
Absolutely the best primer ever! I have very oily skin and this keeps me matte all day. I apply a thin layer under my foundation and I stay matte for about 7-8 hrs. Love it! I’ve tried expensive primers and his is by far, the best!

Not a reccomended purchase
This product does what it claims but not as well as it could. The consistency is very watery compaired to other primers I have used that are more creamy/thicker in consistency. As for the results, it is mattifying when first applied. However by mid day (4-5hrs after applying) the effect has passed. And in my case, after only a few weeks of use, it caused my skin to dryout and become flaky. I was happy to save a few dollars from my previous Neutrogena product, but very disappointed with the results and will not be buying this again.

Great For Oily Skin !!
This product is great, I have very oily skin so whenever I use foundation my skin is always shiny & oily but when I use this matte primer it keeps the shine & oil away. I will be buying again.

Fair, not my favorite
I have no real problems with this primer, except that it both looked like and felt thick like glue when applying. After drying it did not feel heavy, and did not cause any breakouts.

I absolutely love this primer. I use it with loose powder and my skin looks flawless. My face stays matte and smooth all day. I love that it is a cruelty free brand and I hope they dont discontinue this product.

I have sensitive skin, psoriasis, this products works; hasn’t caused any flares or reactions.
It works real well as a primer and sun block. Drys quick, blends well, goes on easily. Can immediately apply any kind of makeup after the primer with sun block dries. I have also worn the pri.er with sunblock on its own. I will purchase more and I highly recommend buying this product.
