Omg y’all.So, I had the Essence brand on my wishlist for a while now, but to be perfectly honest was kind of put off by the branding, which feels a little VS Pink, over the top for my taste. People raved about the formula though so I finally decided to give it a go. I haven’t tried the waterproof yet but the normal one is like hands down my favorite mascara I’ve ever tried. I truly think the magic is in the brush, which is fluffy and feels like regular dense bristles vs those ones that are all sorts of odd silicone shapes. I’m going to quote my mom here who said it best, “Yeah it’s more like a broom when the brush on those new mascaras is more like a rake and they just rake your lashes together.” I’ve not experienced any fallout and it makes my lashes look long and curled and separated without any clumps. Love it!

I absolutely love these mascara. It gives my lashes amazing length, volume, and curl without clumping, and the waterproof formula keeps everything looking great all day. It doesn’t smudge or flake, even after long hours, and my lashes still feel lightweight. The fiber brush separates each lash beautifully for a defined, full look. Ok – I have thin , sparse lashes.I have tried hundreds of mascara’s ( expensive and cheap) lash serums, extensions, magnetic, pre -glued ….. everything.These work . Best I’ve tried in a very long time .The end .

I won’t remove a star, but I hate the brush on the pink one. The fibers are too close together and the brush is weirdly shaped, I found it to pick up too much product and make application clumpy. The blue is great though! Made it easy to apply without overdoing it, I could be more precise. The waterproof-ness worked great, I used eyedrops without it running. The tubes look cool too, that’s a nice bonus. Great value for a bundle too

I am in my seventies with naturally thin, gray eyelashes, so finding a mascara that works well for me can be a challenge. You can see that mascara makes a difference in the look of my eyes. These mascaras have been excellent.The brushes do a great job of coating my lashes evenly, which really helps define them without clumping. I’ve been alternating between the two formulas for a few days, and I find myself preferring the waterproof version since I spend a lot of time around pools and hot tubs.I did notice a small amount of flaking from both formulas after a few hours of wear, but it was very minimal—much less than what I’ve experienced with other mascaras I’ve used.The photos show the results after wearing the mascara around the house for a few hours, with no other makeup. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially considering the affordable price.
