Wonderful Tint-Black Eyelashes!
I’m kind of excited to review this product and here’s why:I’ve had years of experience getting salon eyelash tints so I’m familiar with the expectations. After COVID, I decided it was the right time to use DIY kits. I’ve tried a couple and they produced ok results. The last one was actually more of a dark brown instead of black. To be clear, I want jet black lashes. I have the length and fullness but I only want the pigment. Mascara always looks over the top on me and I really don’t want to mess with the daily application.Everyone has different wants, needs, expectations and sensitivities so I’ll get to the point. If you want dark black eyelashes, this was what I did:I followed the 50/50 instruction for the tint and developer and mixed it thoroughly, then processed it on my eyelashes for 15 minutes. The results were meh. Not as black and defined as I wanted. Instead of throwing in the towel, I persisted by adding a tiny bit more developer, re-mixed it, added a generous amount of product this time with the long brush, re-processed for a an additional 15 minutes (30 min total). Voila, dark black eyelashes! Now I don’t know if that processing time is really recommended but it worked (I always process that long anyways). Also, make sure that you are using enough developer. That makes a big difference. It can be a little tough because it can sting (a bit more than other DIY tint kits). My eyes are sensitive and I was ok. Other kits cost sometimes 3x as much. For $9.99, it’s definitely a win. If you’re looking for dark black eyelashes without going with blue-black, this is the way. I don’t think I’ve ever written such a long review but this can be complicated especially if you’re new to DIY kits and I want to help you all out. ; ) Oh, don’t forget to cut the tops off the tint and developer tubes with scissors. They’re sealed up. Anyways, I highly recommend. I can’t say enough good things about this kit!

Definitely a beginner set
This color lash is very easy to use. Beginner friendly. The overall concept is simple and straightforward. I’m not really sure what the purpose of the eye guards are. I found them to be very ineffective. They would not stay in place. They didn’t provide much protection or help during application. If you already have naturally dark lashes, you’re likely not going to notice much of a difference in color or volume. Light or blonde hair might have better results.

So I’m not sure for lashes since I haven’t tested it out on them, but for my brows?? I LOVE! This kit actually tints my brows a dark black that perfectly matches my hair and stays on for a while. I’ve had my brows tinted with this for about 3 weeks, still black! If you are trying to use this to give a kinda ombre brow look, the “staining” fades after a couple days so bare this in mind! But the actual tint does last you a while, even with me washing my face daily.

Dyed my lashes and brows, i wasnt aware that there was developer in it but im glad! The developer really makes it last longer. I will say do not let it get on your skin or in your eyes. It stains the skin and if its on the skin around your eyes it will burn. Id say its easy to use if you have a stable hand or someone to help. Great price for a lash tint. The dolphin patches stick better when you wet your skin. The patches also help prevent you from getting it on your skin.

I wanted to give them better definition without having to wear mascara everyday. I have never tinted my lashes before so I was a little nervous but the directions were easy to follow and it helped my lashes stand out.The kit itself is fairly easy to use. It is a little nerve wracking being that you are tinting your eyelashes but the overall process was pretty simple. You get everything you need and you get enough to do a few treatments. I especially liked that it came with reusable silicone eyepatches in the shape of dolphins to protect your lower eyelids. Those were easy to use and once finished you just wash them and put them back in their plastic container and they can be used again and again. I also liked the smaller wands that look like flossers. I never thought about using them to comb through my mascara so I liked that I learned a new makeup tip.I did perform the recommended patch test and did not notice any sensitivity so I went a head with the lash tinting. The color did start fading after about 3-4 weeks so it lasts about as long as they advertise. For the price and products you receive this is a good kit.

Long lasting color
Wanted to wait a few weeks for results before posting a review. I must say I am impressed with the lasting color of this product. It looks brown out of the package but does get darker when applied. Happy with the results and had no skin irritation from using. Easy to apply and a great value versus going to the salon.
