Perfect highlighter
I love that this highlight doesn’t look white like a lot of other products do. It leaves a shimmer that looks glowing but not like you smeared shiny white makeup on your face. It goes on well with some pressure and isn’t clumpy and does exactly what you want it to do.

I thought this was going to be more matte and almost concealer-like. This is shimmery- almost like a stick shadow. It is a beautiful color, but I find the application to be a bit streaky, especially if you are trying to get more saturation/layer it. You can probably use it as a stick shadow and highlight in other areas. This might make contouring the nose a bit easier with such a precise application.

This pencil would not glide on the skin beneath my eyebrow or on my eyelid. I thought maybe the exposed “sharpened” tip had dried out somehow, so I removed three layers of the pencil with my sharpener and then ran it across the top of my hand several times to finally get it to adhere, but it still tugged at my skin as I moved it over the eye area skin. I noticed in the video that for the item description online, the model is using a shimmery highlighter powder over the pencil application, so I am wondering now is the pencil made as some kind of base to be used with the powder placed on top of it? It does not come with the shimmery highlighter powder and I am assuming it is probably sold separately. So, because the application process is difficult and the tugging at the delicate eye skin area during application which is not good for such a delicate skin, I have removed 3 stars. I am giving the benefit of the doubt that maybe I received one the was not as fresh as they may usually sell and, or they may intend it as a base to be used with the powder as a set.

Subtle and nice
Very nice subtle sheen to ad a bit of lift and openness to the eyes and brows. I like this pencil a lot. It’s not too obtrusive and yet makes well. It has a bit of a glitter in it, but not too much. I’m considering ordering the other colors.

Maybe not so much for aging skin?
I absolutely love the way this looked on my inner forearm; the color was light and fairly shimmery. But I have a hard time using it around my eyes. The pencil seems too hard and not creamy enough to apply easily. I end up doing a lot of tugging at my skin. I was hoping to use it as a brightener in the inner corners of my eyes as well as a brow highlighter. But I’m over 50 and my eyelids (and even the inner corners of my eyes) aren’t what they used to be, so I’m sure my skin is a large part of the problem. If you don’t have young taut skin, as I don’t, this might not be the best option for you. The color is really pretty though.

Nice quality eye brightener pencil
This eye brightener pencil is really nice quality, I’m very happy with it. The shade looks nice with my skin tone and accentuates my brows and eyes. It’s shimmery and highlights my brows perfectly. Also, it’s made in China if you are wondering. I think it’s a good value and I will continue to use this pencil.
