Great Everyday Mascara for Lifted, Separated Lashes
I ordered this FARMASi Intense Lift Mascara because I have heard about this brand for a while now but had never actually tried any of their makeup products before. I am always looking for mascaras that can give my lashes more lift and definition without turning into a clumpy mess halfway through the day, so this sounded promising.After using it, I can definitely see why people like this brand. The silicone brush does a really nice job separating my lashes and grabbing even the smaller lashes near the inner corners. I tend to prefer mascaras that make my lashes look defined instead of overly thick and spidery, and this gave me that cleaner lifted look. It added noticeable length and curl while still keeping my lashes soft instead of stiff or crunchy feeling.The formula itself feels lightweight on my lashes, which I appreciate because some volumizing mascaras can start feeling heavy after several hours. This one stayed comfortable throughout the day for me and held up surprisingly well. I did not notice much smudging or flaking, even later in the evening, which is usually where mascaras start failing on me.I also like that it layers fairly well. One coat gives a more natural daytime look, while a second coat builds extra volume without immediately clumping everything together. The black color is rich and dark too, so it makes my lashes stand out nicely without needing a ton of product.In the end, this turned out to be a really solid first impression of the FARMASi brand for me. love Farmasi products and have been a customer for years, so I’m always happy when I find some of their products on Amazon. It gives me the opportunity to try items I haven’t purchased before at a lower cost and with quick shipping.This mascara did not disappoint. It gives my lashes great lift and volume without looking clumpy or heavy. I really like the silicone brush because it separates the lashes nicely and helps reach the smaller lashes in the corners of my eyes. The formula also feels lightweight and comfortable to wear throughout the day.I also appreciate that it contains nourishing ingredients like castor oil and peptides, so it feels like it’s helping condition my lashes while wearing it. Overall, another great Farmasi product that I’m glad I decided to try.

a budget level mascara at a not so budget price
I got a chance to try out this new mascara and overall it’s a decent, on par with some retail budget brands, but definitely more luxury priced. The brush did a good job separating my lashes without clumping too much together. It felt light and soft, not heavy or sticky like some other mascaras. The black color was nice and dark and well pigmented, which made my lashes stand out on first application. It applied smoothly and was easy to put on, not too dissimilar to other mascaras. The only downside was that it did not last as long as I hoped, and did flake a little by the end of the day. On the positive side, it was easy to wash off in the shower with a oil based facial cleaner and I had zero reactions or break out after. Overall I’d say it’s a solid, everyday mascara that does look good for a few hours while out and about, but I wouldn’t wear it for any major excursions or excercising.

The brush for this mascara is too flexible to separate the lashes well.Wore well for first half the day, seemed to fade away by mid afternoonAll in all: It’s a mid-level mascara. I would place it in the maybelline , Cover Girl mascara range. Not bad, not special

This mascara goes on with ease. It is lightweight on your lashes and doesn’t feel clumpy. I am older and don’t wear a lot of eye makeup, but I do like this mascara!! It darkens my lashes enough to be seen without making a clumpy and sticky looking mess. I like that is looks simple and natural! I wore it to a wedding in the beach last weekend and it didn’t run or smear in the humidity! I am also one to rub my eyes constantly and the mascara didn’t smudge. That was a big plus for me! The skin around my eyes is also sensitive and this mascara did not irritate it at all. I am very pleased with this mascara and plan to use it!

I didn’t care for this at all
I was hoping that this mascara would make it look like I actually have eye lashes – it did, but not for incredibly long.I love the silicone brush, it separates the lashes perfectly, and it doesn’t clump all over the lashes like some others do. I don’t get any volumizing or lengthening so they don’t look long, thick, and luscious, but it does define my very thin lashes., and makes my eyes look bigger.I gave 4 stars because it didn’t seem to stay on my lashes all day. It says smudge resistant – I didn’t rub my eye but touched my lashes to get a gnat away from my face and the mascara flaked all over my cheek. When I went to wash before bed there was hardly any mascara on my makeup remover pad, and that’s just strange.I don’t think the product is worth the amount of money.

Performs well initially
I had never tried anything from Farmasi before, so I went into this pretty open-minded. Given the price point, I expected this to perform more like the higher-end mascaras I normally use.The formula applied fairly smoothly and didn’t clump badly. The color is a true black. I used a lash curler before applying, and while I did get some definition and length, I didn’t really get the lift or volume I usually expect. I also found the wider brush tip a little awkward when trying to reach my outer lashes.Wear time was the main issue for me. After about 6 hours, I went to remove it with a makeup wipe and there was barely anything coming off because most of it had already worn away. I had also noticed some flaking on my cheeks before that point.For comparison, I normally use Tarte mascaras, and this just didn’t hold up the same way. It’s not unusable, but for the price I expected better staying power and overall performance.
