Amazing Product! Can’t go a day without it!
I absolutely LOVE Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer. I was leary at first because it was a little pricier than I would have liked but now that I have had it for several months and use it EVERY DAY, It is worth every penny. I had an unfortunate issue with very bad acne that has since cleared up, but left me with only half of my eyebrows on both sides. I have nice full eyebrows until about midway through where it should continue, but the hair is so sparse that you can barely see it. Because of this, I need to draw in my eyebrows on the “missing” areas. It’s very frustrating because no matter what I try, they rub off soooo easily. All it takes is me accidently brushing my eyebrow against something and it smudges and leaves me completely embarrassed and needing to run away and re-apply my brow pencil. I bought the Final Seal Makeup sealer in hopes that it would alleviate this atleast slightly. While it does not completely correct the issue of my smudged eyebrows, it does keep the pencil on much much better and keeps it from becoming oily and smuding (for the most part). It also seems to keep all of my makeup in place. Also, it seems to keep eyeshadow from creasing if you make sure to apply it right at your eyelids. You only need a very small amount every day so, although the bottle is somewhat small, it last a really really long time! It has a nice minty scent to it when you first spray it on but the smell doesn’t linger so you don’t smell like mint all day long. I would recommend this to anyone who is trying to keep their makeup from smudging or just to keep it in place. It is a great product!

This stuff is great. I can have a full face of makeup and go to sleep (terrible, I know, but I was drunk!) and wake up with my makeup looking just as I went to sleep with it. I have used this before going swimming, and it helps to keep everything together then too. The only thing is that it can give a slight shine when you first put it on. You may like the way it looks, but if you don’t just put a tad bit of powder on top of it and it disappears with no problem. The 2oz bottle should last me a long while too, perfect amount.Don’t get this in your eyes, burns like unicorn glitter to the eye, just keep them closed for a few seconds after to spray to give your face a chance to dry. The minty smell is great to me. Goes away a min after putting the spray on, it doesn’t linger like some people exaggerate it does but it’s not a bad or crazy overpowering smell.

This. Is. Amazing. I have extremely oily/greasy skin & live in the deep south where the humidity is at least 200% -my makeup rarely lasts an hour after I leave the house. But with this!? This my makeup not only will last all day but into the next as well with just a touch up! It is a LIFESAVER & I cannot do without it anymore! It’s especially amazing when going away for the weekend or long days when I will be too busy & just don’t want to have to even THINK about my face.It is now a MUST HAVE for my makeup bag! I let my makeup set a few minutes (mostly to let mascara dry) Then spritz it on while wearing keeping my hair & neck/shoulders covered with something b/c it can get on your hair/clothes & feel funky, that being said my face doesn’t feel odd after using it, nor is there any kind of smell.I seriously cannot praise this enough! Me: oily, dehydrated, sensitive, acne prone skin with acne scars and large pores.OVERVIEW:This setting spray holds my makeup in place ALL DAY LONG! Like, i’m talking 16 hours at a time. I could be sweating, it could be raining, and my face stays put. I wouldn’t use this as a base because it is kind of sticky when you first put it on, but once your whole face is done… give it a spray and BAM it’s on your face until you wash it off. HOWEVER, it does not prevent my skin from sucking all the moisture out of my foundation. (When you have dehydrated skin, the parts of your skin that are dehydrated tends to suck the moisture out of your foundation causing it to be all speckled, blotchy, and just generally gross looking). This is THE best matte make up sealer there is – if it’s used on stage make up it’ll work on your max factor! I have quite oily skin and this is amazing and doesn’t make my make up feel heavy or caked on. Make sure that you clean the sprayer after you use it as it does tend to get quite tacky after each use.

This spray will make your makeup last about 24 hours. No joke. Minimal touch-ups required, virtually no oil breakthrough, and no makeup transfer when you blot, touch your face, hug people etc. It stands up to all weather and is waterproof. Ideal for long days at weddings or a day when you’re headed straight out after a long work day and will have no time to re-do makeup for the evening. The only real issue I had was wearing glasses or sunglasses, it likes to stick to the bridge of the glasses so then you have two bare spots on each side or your nose when you take your glasses off. If you can go without any sort of glasses, DO IT!- If you have already dry or sensitive skin, don’t touch this stuff with a barge pole. It will be your idea of h..e..double hockey sticks! It will mattify you to the point of Sahara dessert dryness and has a minty tingly sensation initially that will likely sting sensitive skin and makes my eyes water and burn while the minty vapors are floating around while it is drying.- Use a decent moisturizer under your makeup before using this, no matter your skin type, and don’t use it every single day. This is only for hard-core long lasting days of makeup and should not be used every day, even on oily skin as it will eventually dehydrate your skin and make your skin overproduce more oil to compensate for it. I try not to use this spray more than twice a week.- Decant it into a different bottle because the sprayer bottle it comes with is less than useless.- Be mindful that it may react weirdly with oil-based foundations. I find cream and stick foundations sometimes don’t play well with this spray (possibly because of their oil content?) I think maybe the alcohol content of the spray breaks it down, but I’m no scientist. All I know is oil-free liquid foundations are the way to go.- Don’t over saturate your face with the spray. That will cause a shiny film to be left on your face when it dries. If you do get carried away and find this happens, a gentle dusting of your powder brush on top once it’s fully dry (using just the residual product left on your brush and not adding any more) will take away the sheen and any associated tackiness. Let that be a lesson to you!

So far, this has been the best makeup sealer I have been able to find for my incredibly long workdays under heavy lighting as a content creator and live streamer. I was using Loreal Paris Infallible Setting Spray before, and this stuff just kicks its butt. I also have used Urban Decay’s All Nighter, and this Final Seal stuff is still my favorite. It is now my go to. It feel… sticky when you first put it on, but I notice it keeps me matte for about two hours longer compared to other setting sprays. I have a $1 pair of “junk” sunglasses I wear when I spray this stuff on my face. It is drying and I don’t want it anywhere near my sensitive eye skin! Only on the oil-prone portions. 😉 I think that keeping my skin matte throughout the work day with this has helped my acne as well! I’ve noticed a pretty big difference since I started using it- I rarely am using my benzoyal peroxide products now compared to how I used to! The scent is weird, but I’m desperate for oil control, and this stuff does what it says.

Thought the label said “NEW”, the bottle was extremely crusty looking when I received it. There was not a deal on it either.I bought this after being swayed by reviews claiming it only needs one spray and it’s effective at keeping your makeup on your face in the worst environmental conditions.Now I haven’t even tested this spray in bad conditions but it still takes me a few sprays to hold the makeup. And in my opinion, the hold is normal. For comparison, I usually use NYX dewy finish.It does dry oddly quick. And for the applicator, I can’t say if it ducks or not because as soon as I received it, I transferred the liquid to an old setting spray bottle.

I purchased this alongside Model in a bottle, Model in a Bottle Original Makeup Setting Spray – 1.7 oz, because I needed some heavy duty finishing sprays. This did not disappoint me, I must say that the finish is not as mattifying as Model in a bottle’s but it is much kinder to your makeup and you do retain a somewhat dewy finish. You will get oily eventually but that was only after several hours (6 in my case) of wear. Removal was a breeze and I did not break out or get any irritation. Between the two I bought this is my preferred because I like that it isn’t too mattifying and I loved the ease of the removal. (They were still both quite good however so pick what suits you.)
