I have read a lot about natural kohl and I’ve been wanting to try it for a while. I ordered this to see how it compares to my expectations and it truly exceeded all of them, the box claiming this is the same formula used by Egyptians. It comes in a wooden container with a wooden wand in a dark powder form, as expected.It did take a bit of practice to apply correctly. (YouTube and TikTok tutorials are helpful.) It is not harmful to the eyes. The color is perfectly black–excellent quality. It goes on in exactly the right place on the eyes, if applied correctly

It smudged a lot and didn’t go on easily either it bled into lines under eyes I’ll try again but first application wasn’t great the big ok mark was awesome though

Apply Vaseline under your eyes. It will catch the fall out & u can just wipe it away! RTFM!
Interesting product. Came w a cute bookmark that promptly disintegrated. Read the directions—put some Vaseline under ur eyes then easily wipe away fall out! WOW learned something new. It must be kept upright at all times. The applicator could poke your eye out BE CAREFUL do not let younger folks mess with this & this is for experienced eyeliner users only! Wooden container is cute on my vanity not sure that if I bumped it it wouldn’t all dump out however. How about making eyeliner in a plastic jar with screw on lid & separate applicator? This is gonna be a mess on somebody’s carpet I have a feeling. Stays on great I didn’t have that much fall out (I’m fairly experienced) & it wiped away like a breeze w Vaseline! RTFM ppl smdh if you didn’t apply Vaseline or lipbalm good luck getting the black off. You would have to redo ur fdtn/eye makeup. This is a challenge but if you know your kajal/khǒls this is fairly easy to use. It was a little expensive for what you get. You don’t get a lot of product. But most are in line with this price or more. I don’t know why they are so $$$ I could buy a wnw kohl for a buck and get a black liner. But I’m big into the smudged out rock and roll lived in goth lewk I don’t want a shadp line & plus it’s the ritual of applying it! Rock on Starman!!! (Big Bowie fan)

Painful Application
Too much surmah comes out at once. It felt as if I had put sand in my eyes. It was a painful experience. The next day tried to get the extras off with a tissue. It was still unpleasant. I may return it.
