The first time I tried this foundation, I was amazed at how easily it covered the skin and gave a natural finish. This is NOT like your traditional powders – it has the amazing consistency of the same of the newer, silkier eyeshadows. I have “mature” skin, so liquids don’t give the same kind of finish they used to on me – and so many powders make me look too dry. This is a great foundation, make sure you use a good foundation brush with it. You will love the results!

This is one of my favorite mineral powders. At first it was a little dry looking on my skin, Somewhere I read a tip to apply oil, then brush on the powder. GREAT TIP! It makes all the difference!!! I apply Argan Oil before applying mineral powder. Won’t put this on without the Argan oil now. Color is very natural looking, not orangish, or pinkish. I don’t look “made up” when I put this color on. I also have two other colors from this brand to contour and conceal.It is a refill packa and I didn’t buy a case for it. Be careful not to drop it. I accidentally dropped mine. I love this foundation! The shade is perfect for my olive skin tone, and I love the buildable coverage. I have oily skin, so this is great at keeping my oil under control. Love the clean ingredients, and it doesn’t look cakey on me. I use moisturizer before I apply this foundation, so I think that helps it not look cakey. I saw some other reviews saying it looked cakey on them, but I think that can be said for any powder on dry skin. Overall, I love this and I will continue to use it as long as I can!!

Health dupe for higher end powder
I love this powder. It’s the first one I’ve found that actually feels like an affordable , healthy dupe for a higher end powder I’ve used for years (b**e m******s). It doesn’t feel as thick as that one, either. I like that I can adjust the level of coverage. I live in a hotter climate and use it with an SPF moisturizer, but I think if you live in a colder climate, you might need a little more moisturizer. It wasn’t drying on me at all- just thinking that based on having lived in various climates before and the texture of the powder. It feels and looks more like my skin. It took a little getting used to it being just a touch more natural of a look as I was used to slightly more coverage, but when I used the other powder once since using this one, the old one now feels too heavy and thick. I am 40, with medium skin that can go to a lighter medium in the winter and a darker medium in the summer. I have combination skin that’s usually well controlled, though I did have a recent breakout due to something I ate, and this powder covered well on top of my zinc moisturizer without making the breakout worse. I found luminous to work well, though might need to go up a shade as I’m in the sun more. It’s a nice balance between matte but not flat. I also like their two-pack eye shadow palettes with the matte shades.

Amazing for olive skin!
I’ve been on a quest to find a new pressed powder for a couple years, ever since my last one’s color was discontinued. I tried out this one and it was a perfect match! Not too pink or orange like I usually see with my olive skin tone. My only complaint is it’s a lot more expensive than I’m used to, but it’s worth it.

I absolutely love this pressed powder. It’s light, stays on all day, and people compliment my skin as if I’m not wearing makeup. Photo is after a 13 mile bike ride in the hot sun – no caking, even with my oily skin type.
