Lash lift rods
These are so much better than the rods that have come with the kits I’ve ordered. The sizes are imprinted on the pads so you can ensure you using the same size pad on both sides. They are very pliable and mold much better the the curvature of my eyes. I’ve had a tough time with other rods lifting on both corners because their curvature and pliability just weren’t suited for my eyes. They do an excellent job of sticking without using adhesive, although I will still use just a tiny bit of adhesive in the corners for good measure. The little silicone strip that secured the lashes on the rod is included is self sticking as well. These will be so beneficial for me because my lashes like to lift off the rods. Also included are the under eye silicone pads. They stick extremely well and seem like they maybe have a bit of adhesive on them…? Maybe I’m wrong about that, but I’ll be sure to have a clean face with no makeup while using them as to try and keep the “sticky” working for as long as possible. The rods come in a small plastic case for storage. They are a bit long and should be able to be trimmed to size without issue if need be. I’m so glad I got these, I’ll be tossing the ones that came with my kits and solely using these from now on.

These are great little curlers. I wish there was an insert or something to explain which direction to put them on for people who are a little dense like myself😅. I put them on backwards and over curled the heck out of my inner lashes. But they are so comfortable and easy to use . Very soft and flexible. I would recommend these for those who want a more cat eye effect

Not for beginners
I wish these came with instructions. As someone who was trying to do lash lifts for the first time at home, this was not easy to use. However, once I was able to figure out what to do, it wasn’t too hard to use. Also, as a best practice, be sure to clean everything before and after each use. I only noticed a small difference in my eyelashes so I’m not sure if these are worth it for the price.

Sanitation could be better
I have only used one other lash lift kit before and I did not like the rods from that kit. These Japanese lash lift rods are so much better. They fit the curve of my eyes better and I don’t have to trim them down even though they’re very long. I like that there are separate rods for the left and right eyes. I also feel that the vertical curve of the rods creates a more flattering and natural-looking lift to my eyelashes. The material of the rods makes them stick to the skin pretty well without the use of lash glue. The silicone ribbon cover was a great addition to keep my lashes in place while being permed. I don’t like to use the eye patches so I can’t say much about those.The lash rods are pretty great so far but I have to dock this item 1 star. I had just opened up the package and was taking photos for this review when I found a hair that was longer than my thumbnail on one of the rods. Gross. Well, I’m glad I saw that before I put the rods on my eyes. This should serve as a reminder to sanitize certain products yourself before use since you never know what it’s been through before reaching your house.
