Definitely worth buying
These have a nice formula, very creamy and easy to apply, with a matte finish. Some of the colors look good on their own as lipstick, although that can be a bit drying. I love that they are retractable so you don’t have to sharpen them. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that I don’t like a couple of the colors, and I wish the set included at least one purple instead of 4 different shades of brown.

Easily comparable to higher end lip liners
Easily comparable to higher end lip liners. I love the versatility within this pack of lipliners; there’s a color to fit virtually all your lip liner needs. These are great quality lip liners with excellent staying power. These can easily hold their own out there in the cosmetic world amongst all the higher end brands. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these again and would definitely recommend to anyone who asks. I love the fact that these do not need to be sharpened, these glide on very nice and smoothly and are very true to color. Keeps my lipstick beautifully in place all day with minimal touch up needs.

Ah-mazing!
I was in need of more lip liners and after a lot of searching I decided on these ones from J.cat. I can honestly say I am so surprised at how great they are for the price! The colors are fantastic, they last all day, and they are roll-up pencils which I prefer in a lip liner. When I first received these I swatched them on my wrist, waiting a few minutes, and then attempted to rub it off with my hand. Rubbing slightly smeared the liners, but the color was very much still there. I managed to forget that I’d swatched these on my wrist and woke up the next morning with all the little lines still there. I then had the opportunity to actually use the lip liner and it worked just as well as some of my more expensive liners. I am very pleased! My only gripe is that the pencil casing seems a little flimsy/loose. I haven’t had any problems with that yet, though, so I’m still very happy with my purchase.

First thing’s first – this is a great deal! These exact pencils go for $2.99 each at ulta. That’s roughly a $25 savings compared to buying them all individually! They are super creamy and go on easily with no tugging but they also last all day for me when i use a setting spray over my entire face. I loved that there are a few more unconventional colors (brown, hot pink, black) as well as several standard ones. I can find a match for nearly every lipstick I own right in this pack. Full disclosure, one did arrive broken or faulty (when i rolled it up a little to swatch it, the whole thing sprung up and wouldn’t click back down) but honestly, considering that I paid roughly 10 dollars for set with a value of 35.88, it’s no loss and it wouldn’t be fair to take a star off.

Good Price, Pretty Colors, Smooth Application But “Feathered” on Me
I was going to purchase 1 urban decay pencil, as they stay put and are waterproof, but so expensive. So, thought I would try these. I searched for waterproof eyeliners and I could have sworn it said they are waterproof, but when I look at description now, don’t see it, so maybe I made a mistake. I think the colors are very pretty, a nice assortment. They go on smoothly. The problem I had with them is that they feathered terribly, on me. Maybe that doesn’t happen on everyone, though.

Great price, beautiful color variety
I’m super new to wearing lip color, I’m more of a lip balm girl and the most I ever do is a tinted balm. I’ve been wanting to branch out a bit and these were the perfect way to do so for the price. Easy to use, always “sharp” and a wide array of colors to experiment with. They’re pigmented well and have okay staying power. It did pretty well during a snack and some lip-licking but if I were to wipe my lips with the back of my hand it’d come off of course. It’s nice to try out wearing color at this price and I would totally buy it again in a heartbeat.

Exceeded My Expectations
Let me just say, these are WAY better than I expected from something this cheap. You get all 12 lip liners and all the colors are different. There were only two colors that were similar, but even then they were still a shade different. There’s three pinks, one light purple, one red (with a pink undertone), two nude colors, two browns, two burgundys, and a black. Some of the colors don’t match the colors on the bottom of the liners, so I suggest doing swatches before wearing them, so you know exactly what each color looks like. From the three I tried on, they were all creamy and went on smooth. All are matte. They twist up so no need for sharpening. They were a little drying but usually matte lipsticks/lip liners are, just put on chapstick or something underneath. I wouldn’t say they’re completely water proof, but they do take some scrubbing to get off, especially the darker colors. I haven’t tried eating with them on but I’m sure they’d stay on. One of my favorite things about them is I noticed that they don’t rub off on my teeth! Every other lipstick/liner has done that to me. All in all, they’re great and I highly suggest buying them. What a steal for the price.

Great price and colors!
I mostly wear dark colors (reds & browns) so I got excited when I saw the images. The colors are exactly as I expected with a good range of reds, browns, neutrals, pinks, and a black one too. I was nervous about it being too hard as the other reviewers mentioned. The lip liners DIDN’T drag on my skin…on the contrary they were soft, but to make it softer just put your blow dryer on the uncovered top for a second or two. When I pushed down on the liners, they did break off on the tips so be careful (indeed they’re soft).I put up pictures of them in thin and thick lines. I wouldn’t wear them as a lipstick since they are too drying for me. As a liner, they’re perfect.Of course not having to sharpen these is convenient on-the-go! By the way $11 for such a great variety of lip liners is an amazing deal!
