Perfect in Every Way!
This is a lovely setting powder that is just as advertised. It is sheer on my medium/light toned skin and does not leave a white cast. It sets and blurs, all without drying my dry skin or settling into fine lines. This feels and looks great on.I love the case it is in! So pretty and very heavy and secure. The product is unlikely to break in such a weighty case. I feel comfortable throwing this in my purse and not worrying about the contents.Another great product from Jouer! This brand has really impressed me with their quality offerings! I love that it is a “clean” brand also.

Gives a nice, even finish on the skin
Really liked this! Used it after doing my face makeup (so after any foundation, concealer, contour and blush). It has a nice setting finish, wasn’t too overly matte or shiny. Neutralized sheen and gave an overall more even look. I do feel that it gave a soft focus result. This was my first time using a pressed setting powder. Usually I use a loose powder. Was very impressed with the finish and would repurchase this once I run out!

This Jouer Soft Focus Hydrate + Set Powder is my favorite setting powder at the moment, and trust me, I’ve tried them all. This is honestly a perfect addition to any makeup routine. The talc-free formula feels light on the skin and provides a smooth, natural finish without looking cakey. Infused with hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and allantoin, it keeps the skin feeling hydrated while setting makeup.The universal translucent shade works well for a variety of skin tones, but it’s not too light/bright to where you’ll experience flashback. It also comes in gorgeous packaging — it feels really heavy and the ornate detailing on the mirrored case make it feel super fancy & luxurious. It also comes with a pink suede pouch, making it great for gifting or travel.Final thoughts: the powder blends easily and helps makeup last longer without drying out the skin. This is a functional yet luxurious setting powder that combines skincare benefits with a flawless finish.

Hydrating, silky powder that sets AND moisturizes
I was a bit skeptical of this product’s claims at first — how can a pressed setting powder be hydrating??? — but I was VERY pleasantly surprised that I actually do feel the hydration when applying this powder (and my skin felt noticeably more hydrated throughout the day, which I really appreciate because I have dry skin which only gets worse in the fall/winter). It also made my skin look dewy but set — it’s honestly hard to describe (I will try to come back and add a photo of my makeup where all I have on for powder/setting spray is this) but my makeup is clearly set and any extra shine/texture is gone but there’s still a glass skin glow and dewiness to my face. Too much powder can also make my skin look TOO dry quickly but when using just this powder (vs my normal which is a very light layer of pressed in some areas, then some loose powder and several layers of setting spray) lightly across my face + setting spray gave me the look that I wanted, set my makeup perfectly but with more hydration and glow, AND it lasted great throughout the day without creasing, cracking, settling into my fine lines, or looking bad towards the end of the day so TL;DR: I’mTHRILLED that this one product is saving me a bunch of time and, in the long run, money too! This powder probably is best for people like me with dry skin who don’t like to use much powder, but honestly I think this could change the mind of people who like to use a lot of powder/bake/etc so even if you’re skeptical too, IMHO I think you should give this a try! The component is really nice and super classy looking (and I love how they stamped their logo and the leaf design into the powder) and it comes with a velvet bag to help keep fingerprints/scratches etc off the compact, but personally for the price I would’ve really liked to have this come with a high quality powder puff (I would’ve much preferred a puff to the bag). Still, I understand why they didn’t and it keeps the compact slimmer to not have a spot for the puff (though I would’ve been completely fine with one that doesn’t fit in the compact too). I do think this works best with a powder puff (just a regular velour one is good but the furry one i have from momo’s workshop is my fave w this) versus a brush. This is definitely on the pricy side but I 100% think it’s worth it! Highlyyyyy recommend

I tend to have red, sensitive skin. I am also in my 60s with a few wrinkles and dark spots. Jouer Set Powder works so well on my skin. I love it.First, I put on my moisturizer, and then a light foundation. Then I brush Jouer powder over the foundation. The powder blends so well. My redness and dark spots are totally gone and covered. The powder does not settle in my wrinkles. It is not drying. The powder does not irritate my skin at all. I do not notice any scent with this product. I was afraid, too, that this powder would be too light on my medium-toned white skin. It was fine. It blends beautifully and takes on the color of my skin and foundation. It gives me a light dusting with blending.I love that this compact can fit into my small purse. I have a small brush and I can touch up as needed. The compact has a large mirror. I love how nicely this product was packaged. It even had a Moleskine pouch to protect the package while in transit.This is a product that I will purchase again. I really love it.

The translucent finish works beautifully for all skin types and tones, giving a smooth, natural look without any white cast.A little tip: always blot with a sponge or a brush (after tapping off the excess) -don’t rub or sweep it on. This way, you won’t smudge your foundation or concealer. I like to press it under my eyes and anywhere that tends to crease or needs a little blurring.Watch the magic happen -it’s honestly like a filter for your face!
