HOW TO: Brush brow hairs with the spoolie. Use the pencil to sketch individual hairs and fill in any gaps for a natural look. For a more dramatic look, smudge the brow color through the entire brow, then comb with the spoolie to help blend. Finish the look with a final brush through with the spoolie.
PRO TIPS: Use multiple shades with hair-like sketching strokes to create a more 3-dimensional look to the brow. Create an ombre effect by using a lighter shade through the front of the brow and switching to a deeper shade at the midpoint. Blend where the two shades meet for a softer gradient. For a bolder payoff, apply to clean skin (before you use moisturizers, primer, or foundation) and avoid applying other complexion products to the brows.

Great color; not so great packaging.
This is a wonderful eyebrow pencil; it goes on easily, looks natural, and wipes off easily in the event of those 6am-on-the-way-to-work indiscretions. At the same time, KA packaging department needs to re-think the packaging; the thin brown strip easily becomes detached from its base inside the plastic. Worse, there is no cap to keep it from falling out. As a result I have spent a few minutes on the bathroom floor, more than once, hunting down the offender. Net net, the pencil is worth it, but make sure to store it horizontally.

Kevyn Aucoin The Precision Brow Pencil, Just perfect!
I’ve purchased more than my share of brow pencils looking for the perfect one and for me this is it. The design is exceptional for making the finest lines (which helps to create the most natural and flawless look). The pencil isn’t sharpened but instead is extended and indeed has the finest point I’ve found in a brow pencil. I also appreciate not chewing up half my product in a sharpener as it repeatedly breaks off. I chose the color “Brunette” which is perfect in my opinion. It is very dark, yet remains a true brown. The texture of the pencil itself is also perfect, it has a hard wax consistency which I find preferable for the brow lines staying in place and not smearing. A final cool design perk is the firm mini brush on the end for finishing. In a word, perfection.On a side note, the texture of this pencil reminds me of the old red “Maybelline” pencil my Mom always wore and still available today. I had always found them to be the perfect long wearing pencil but disliked the wide application point and waste of product when sharpening, problem solved!

Worth every penny!
I was hesitant at first to buy this product because it costs so much more than other eyebrow pencils I have used, but it is worth every penny. This eyebrow pencil is not like other ones that I have used. This one gives the most natural looking eyebrows. I have tried the creamier eyebrow pencils as well as the powder and wax combo. This pencil works like a mechanical pencil and the makeup part is harder than regular eyebrow pencils. It draws on easily and really looks natural. My eyebrows have gotten skimpy as I get older and this gives me the look of beautiful full eyebrows. I would highly recommend this product.

CHECK FOR MAKEUP
Be sure to check if there’s any actual makeup in the pencil. I just opened one I bought 2 months ago (I buy 2 at a time and you can only return/exchange for 1 month after purchase), and there is NO BROW MAKEUP IN THE PENCIL. Is it too much to ask to get what I paid for? I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else, so check. These aren’t cheap.

omg. i’ve been undergoing chemo treatments for 4 months and have tried several eyebrow pencils, powders, sticks. this one has proven to be the best. easy to draw, and if i don’t accidentally rub it off, it stays all day. it works better than powders that don’t stick, larger fat pencils that only apply color if pressed HARD. this pencil is thin enough to create your eyebrows, the color (brunette) is perfect – a medium to dark-ish brown. the pencil is retractable and actually goes back in when you want it to. i wish i had found this much earlier!

Love it, as you can brush strokes to look like real hair. If you are heavy on the hand, take the brush at the opposite end and gently brush through it to fill in the rest of the area, and continue till you have that perfect brow, now move on and curl them lashes. My hair is dark brown and I use the brunette. It does not look black!

The “It” of eyebrow pencils…
I bought this because the girl in the ad said this was her favorite product in the whole entire store. I’ve always struggled with my eyebrows and have been using eyeshadow on them for years. This pencil is amazing. It doesn’t have hard lines…you just stroke lightly and it never looks drawn on..it almost just highlights your hairs. I would recommend, price and all. It’ll last a long time.
