The Kevyn Aucoin The Precision Liquid Liner, BLACK: This is an eyeliner that has a felt tip, marker-style applicator, self-sharpening, and easy glide-on that provides precise application for perfectly defined eyes. The long-wearing, fast drying eyeliner glides on a sharp, smooth line with every application. Easy to use and comfortable on the skin, it deposits the perfect amount of black pigment every time. Dermatologist tested. Paraben-free. Sulfate-free. Phthalate-free.
The blackest of black pigment gives the ultimate payoff with a marker-style applicator allowing for precision. Comes with a foolproof felt tip eyeliner that delivers a silky carbon black color without skipping, smudging, or bleeding and lasts from DAY to NIGHT. Long-wearing precise definition. The ultra-fine applicator draws a perfect line every time. From a natural look to the most dramatic cat eye, this liquid eyeliner is ideal for creating your desired intensity.
HOW TO: Use short, fluid strokes from the outer corner of your eye toward the inner corner. Ensure the eyeliner tip stays as close to the lash line as possible. Customize your look by using the side of the felt tip for a thicker liner, and the very fine point of the felt tip for a thin line. Be sure to replace the product's lid quickly to prevent the felt tip from drying.
PRO TIPS: For easier placement on the eyelid, lightly map out how and where you want your line to go, then trace over that with THE PRECISION LIQUID LINER. When using THE PRECISION LIQUID LINER, don't try to sweep one line across the lid; instead, sketch shorter dashes at the lash line, then go back in to connect it all. As makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin recommended in his NY Times best-selling books, use a magnifying mirror when applying liquid liner for maximum precision.

Good
This eyeliner is nice. It didn’t wow me. I like its dark black strong color and it’s staying power, but, it’s not amazing.

Perfection in a Tube
I just love this brand. It is a shame he’s not with us anymore. Because his level of perfection is unmatched in today’s make up world in my opinion. I have a make up brush made by him that is 30 years old and still in PERFECT Condition! He was the first to make this easy applicable eyeliner process. In the past it took skill to be able to apply the line perfectly. However, with this construction it makes putting eyeliner on very easy. Now what makes his product stand out from most is its quality. It’s lasting power. It’s brilliance of color. I always use it. I’ve ordered many. Being an individual who has sensitive skin (eczema) I have to be very careful which products I apply to my face. I have never had a problem with Kevyn Aucoin products. S.R. This eyeliner is great. It lasts all day and does not smudge on me.
The applicator is super precise, the color is deeply pigmented, and most importantly it dries quickly and LASTS!! My liner looks perfect at the end of the day, probably the only product I have ever experienced this with. It also comes off very easily with cleansing balm. The only thing that moved was a little of the liner on my right eye was rubbed off. Not much, though. The formula stays put. The shape and stiffness of the marker is awesome. I am not good at doing my eyeliner. I have been using another brand that had a flexible marker tip, which is much more difficult to use. Eyeliner ends up in places where I don’t want it. This tip is nice and stiff and goes where I want it to. I do think it will probably dry up quickly. It seems to be a common problem with eyeliner markers.

A bit more on the drier side and didn’t give me a dramatic line as I expected
I’m not sure if the product itself is this way or if mine was defective, but my liner was a bit on the drier side. I’m able to get a line on my lids and it’s black but not a “dark” black like I was expecting. If I even remotely try to go over it again to give it a darker definition, it almost seems to rub it off in some sections. The tip and size of the liner is the right size and if it were more “wet”, it would draw a perfect sized line (at least how I wear it). Unfortunately, for the price of $34, I am not blown away. It’s fine and did the job of not making my eyes look so tired, but I’m back to using my regular eyeliner.

Smooth application and long lasting (review for pencil)
**I received the Precision Eye Definer pencil, NOT the liquid liner that I ordered**This is a GREAT eyeliner. I typically use liquid liner but some days call for a lighter hand, and this pencil is wonderful. I usually avoid pencils because I hate the way they drag my skin, but this glides on effortlessly, and the wide plastic body gives me a great handle on it for precise control (skinny pencils are harder for me to use). In the pic, I’m showing the liner at the end of a 15-hour day, under eyeshadow (I had a nice, sharp line throughout my workday). My liquid liner would be mostly gone by this time (even with my setting spray) because I rub my eyes a lot (they are sensitive). Also, I wear contacts and I haven’t had any issues with this.I don’t normally rave about makeup. I have multiple beauty box subscriptions so I’ve tried a LOT of products, and 5-star ones are pretty rare. However, for a pencil liner (with the limitations of that, like not being able to make a good wing with it), this is the best I’ve ever tried. I would definitely recommend it.
