I want to start by saying that this is a very good bar. It’s not too sweet or too tart and in terms of taste, it’s very well balanced. Having said that, my big issue with it is that it’s very sticky. I haven’t encountered that with other KIND bars, which is why I mention it. It’s fine and if you’re careful, it isn’t too much of a problem, but if you touch the bar directly with your fingers, they will get sticky. For that reason, I have to consider the environment where I enjoy these (usually at home or the office). That is also the reason why I reduced my rating from five stars to four.

Soft little snacks
For one: like the title describes, the bars are tiny. If you put two of those ketchup packs from the fast food chains, vertically from the bottom of one pouch to the top of the other. You are still shy of a centimeter. That’s the size of these bars in width and length. However, they are natural tasting. Lightly sweetened by the honey and cranberries. You can see the shine on the bars and are a little sticky. Just the right proportion in mixture of nuts, rice and cranberries, one is not more abundant than the other. My bars were soft and nuts crisp. Expiration on my bars: March 2014. Tasty Bar, But A Little Price-y
Don’t get me wrong, the bar tastes pretty good, and based on the ingredients I see on the list, I think it’s not too bad for snacking or even a light breakfast – full of good fat, protein, and, yes, tastes all right. But for some reason I’m skeptical based on other reviews, and when I eat it, it just feels like I’m cheating or something. Will update review as more research pends.

One of my favorites
At 65 and counting, if I am going to eat a meal replacement bar, the very first thing it must do is taste good. Admittedly, KIND bars are my absolute favorite because they are way ahead of others in terms of taste as well as satisfaction. With any meal substitution bar, it is important to read the ingredients and determine for yourself whether these fit your particular situation. Beyond that, the Cranberry Almond bars are packed with almonds, with less of a cranberry flavor, which is sweet, but not overly so. They weigh in at 190 calories, and they do satisfy; I use them either for breakfast or lunch. The only quibble I have is that the bars are not only moist, but they are very sticky, making them in my opinion not suitable for eating in the car while on the go. Recently Amazon ran these on sale at about $1.20 a bar including super saver shipping; this price is significantly better than grocery store prices. As of this review, Amazon has dropped the price even lower; also, the expiration date is out about 13 months.

I finally found The One…
This is the nut bar that I have been looking for since I first saw a nut bar! They are the right size, they are moist, they look perfect, and the healthy ingredients are fresh and delicious. .They can stave off hunger if you miss a meal, or satisfy a sweet tooth. Even my finicky son will eat theseAnd they are politicaly and nutritionaly correct…. made in the USA, very low sodium, dairy free, good source of fiber, gluten free etc.You can see how perfect they are right through the beautiful wrappers. I do not work for KIND, but I do rave about this product.

I love KIND bars as they are so different from the typical granola bars. They are delicious with many flavor combos to choose of nuts and fruits.KIND bars also have low glycemic index and are gluten free which I appreciate even though I am not diabetic or allergic to gluten. They are a healthy and filling snack that tastes so good I think of them as dessert! I enjoy them so much I can’t even think about eating a regular granola bar anymore.Wish they were not so expensive though. I work around that by purchasing on sale.

THEY ARE DELICIOUS AND FILLING. I HAVE GIVEN THEM TO FRIENDS AND THEY LOVE THEM AS WELL. I AM A WEIGHT WATCHER AND THE 4 POINT BARS FIT RIGHT INTO MY PROGRAM, I DO OCCASIONALLY TAKE MY EXTRA POINTS IN THESE BARS. THE FIBER COUNT MAKES THEM WORTH THE EXTRA POINTS AND THE TASTE JUST MAKES THEM WORTH HAVING INSTEAD OF SOME OLD BAR THAT TASTE LIKE TWIGS. I LOVE THE NUTS THE BEST IF YOU AREN’T A NUT LOVER YOU MIGHT NOT CARE FOR THESE, THEY HAVE AN ABUNDANCE OF THEM. YUMMY/THEY ALSO CAN BE TREATED LIKE A CANDY BAR. I love KIND bars………..but not these.They arrived quickly but when I tore one open it smelled funny. Never having tried this cranberry-almond bar before I bit the corner and it tasted so old and stale. Called Amazon and a replacement is on the way. That’s what I LOVE about my AMAZON PRIME and the great customer service. Before I started shopping with AMAZON, I bought KIND bars at QVC and paid a lot more but they were always extremely fresh. Most KIND bars are usually fresh and chewy and delicious. My favorite so far is the apricot-almond but I am sure that IF I can get a fresh box of these, I will like them even better! Not even this can stop me from lovin’ my KIND bars.Wanted to add to my original review that I received a replacement box of these today from AMAZON and they are so moist and sweet and delicious that the bar would hardly stay together. The cranberries are so moist and juicy and tasteful. These bars are just as scrumptious as I knew that they would be. There are no peanuts whatsoever in them. There are many pieces of macadamia nut throughout every bar. I definitely will buy again. Am a little leery of getting old, stale bars delivered but will order since the replacement only took one day to get to me.
