    Love!

I purchased these mainly because the reviews were so good. I was looking for something more than what my concealer has been offering me of late. I’ve used green corrector before (diff brand), so I knew that would work but I’ve never tried the reddish or gold. I found the other reviews helpful and I followed the advice. I used burts bees eye cream, a small amount of light primer underneath my eyes. I started with just small dot sized dabs of red under my eyes. (I found that to tap & pat worked best for me. I tried by beauty sponge and it didnt work as well.) I appreciated a reviewer tip that said to use a concealer brush and put the product onto the brush, then onto your face, as these tubes excrete a LOT of fluid. Next I added dots of green under my eyes and anywhere else on my face that needed it. Again tap & pat until its fully blended. I then used just a few dots of the gold under my eyes and a few other sparse areas of my face I felt needed some extra correction help. After all the tapping, patting and blending, I use a concealer brush and tap on my regular concealer. I recently read about “baking” too so I gave it a try. After correcting and concealing, I used my powder foundation and finished the rest of my face of makeup. I ended with a setting powder. Good tip: I sprayed my beauty blender with a tad of MAC setting spray, then dipped it into my finishing powder and loosely applied under my eyes (heavily) and the rest of my face. Let it set for 15 minutes, then used a fan brush to remove any excess leftover powder. Sprayed with MAC setting spray again and done! The results with using these concealers were a much smoother finish on my skin overall with no redness or patchyness to be observed at all. Exactly the fix I was seeking!! Under my eyes was flawless! Dont hesitate to get these magic erasers. With some practice & know how under your belt, you’re sure to be as pleased as me.

A good, inexpensive set of neutralizers.

I have dark circles and tiny red spider veins around my nose. I have loads of concealers but I have found that I have to neutralize the areas before I conceal them or else they will show right through in 30 minutes or less. I had already used the orange tube of LA Girl Pro Conceal but I also like yellow so I got this set of three. It was a good deal and I wanted to try the yellow and green shades and needed the orange. These come in tubes with a brush top. You have to squeeze the tube and the product comes out which is convenient but, often, too much product comes out and there is no way to get it back into the tube. I have been squeezing oh so gently and then using my own concealer brush to apply the product rather than the one on the tube. It works so much better and spreads out the product so it isn’t thick and cakey.I use orange under my eyes but I find yellow works really well too. My circles are more on the brownish side and I have fairly light skin so they are very noticeable. I use either the orange or yellow on my circles, patting it gently around my eye area and let it dry. I then apply a light coverage foundation and, at the end, a skin toned concealer. My circles are greatly diminished and stay that way much longer than without the neutralizer underneath. For the spider veins, I use the green. I never used green correcter before but this works well. I need just a drop around my nose and then a touch of concealer after foundation and those stay hidden all day. I am still playing around with the colors and seeing what works best for me but this trio really does help to conceal all sorts of unwanted marks and spots and it keeps them concealed much longer than plain concealer alone. You do need to apply a skin toned concealer after because the colors will show through unless your foundation is very thick. Use a light hand, blend well, and I think you’ll be happy with this set. For the price, it is well worth trying before using the expensive stuff that really does the same thing.

Cheap and great way to color correct

I wanted to experiment more with color correcting, but didn’t want to spend an extra $29 on another Urban Decay color corrector so I got this. This is a fantastic buy! The performance is pretty decent for the price you pay for this set.To start, it is not as creamy compared to Urban Decay’s correctors, but it blends decently well using a brush or beautyblender sponge. The color correctors were pigmented enough for my dark undereye circles and mild redness. I typically use a peach color corrector, but as my circles gotten darker it wasn’t cutting it as much anymore. This orange corrector was able to correct it and allowed my concealer to look much less grey than they otherwise would. The green and yellow were great in addressing mild redness as well and it didn’t give me a grey cast. I suggest green if you have more severe redness, and yellow if it’s mild. A tip for application: only apply in areas you need correction! If you apply excess in areas that don’t need correction, it will cause weird discoloration when applying foundation because it will affect the undertone. Overall, very happy with the product itself! Now I do have to note a slight con unfortunately, and that is that it is a brush applicator on the tube. It’s not enough to take a star off by any means, but it is mildly annoying at best. Due to the applicator, leftover product does tend to gunk up the brush causing it to be a bit harder to push product out. But don’t let that deter you! The product itself is great and I’d gladly buy more when I run out 🙂

ASTOUNDINGLY good stuff!! I stand amazed!

I really didn’t expect much from this product (the brand is sold at my local dollar store & is a notoriously low-quality line), but I stand amazed!! This is shockingly GOOD STUFF! Full coverage, easy to apply & blend, great color saturation & hue, wonderfully buildable (don’t use setting powder between coats) LONG lasting (despite our hot, humid, sweaty So. Cali summertime weather) – impressive! Better still, these cost me $68+ LESS than the comparable Clinique products I’d been using, AND worked better in EVERY WAY! Gobsmacked. Stunned. Just…wow! The ONLY drawbacks:- It dries quickly, so to ensure even coverage, if you’re using it on your entire face, apply & blend it on no more than 1/6 of your face at a time. Unless you’re going for an opaque, cakey, unnatural appearance, anyway… (Each to their own, right?)- There’s an application brush attached to each tube – you squeeze the product into the brush, then apply directly to your face. This poses a potential bacteria problem, so either apply a good bit to a pallette & use a separate applicator, or pull the brush out of the end & use it like any other tube. NOTE: If you remove the brush attachment, be sure to store it with the open end UP so it doesn’t leak into the cap, wasting product & generally making a mess!See? No major detriment. It’s WAAAY better than anything I’ve tried from Ulta & Sephora (I usually get all of my – clearly overpriced – cosmetics from one of those). Will I be making this purchase again? As my mother would say, “You bet your sweet bippy, I will!”! This stuff officially replaces all of my other color correctors, without exception, from now on!

Didn’t have high hopes but these are amazing!

I thought these wouldn’t be very pigmented but boy was I wrong! I put quite a bit on and thought, shoot I’m going to be orange and green today! I was impressed how well it covered with foundation (I just use Revlon foundation while I’m a poor grad student) and it corrected my problem areas without detection! I am very pale and have the typical redness around my nostrils and I have thin skin around my eye and get terrible dark circles. The dark circles are really hard to hide normally even when I used to use the Bobbi Brown circle corrector which I paid really good money for. I saw how well priced these tubes are and thought I would give them a shot. It’s just now becoming common to use corrective concealers, I have seen the green primers before for redness but lately makeup artists have been showing how to use the pigments to correct. I bought these three tubes and I must saw the outcome is impressive. The green completely covered the redness around my nose and I mixed the orange with a little yellow to cover the dark circles under my eyes, applied foundation and set it with my powder and I don’t see any of these problem areas! I took a selfie just to see if the shadows would still show my issues so I took it in natural light and I was excited to send it to my sister who has the same issues as me and she was impressed too! I usually use an app to correct for my horrible dark circles in pictures but I didn’t need to with this picture and I shared it here in this review too! Completely untouched and no filters. I highly recommend them!

    Super pigmented; drying

I’ve been playing around with many different color correctors now for about six months; I have light-medium, combination skin complexion with rosacea and very dark under eye circles. Regular concealers and foundation are not enough to combat either problem. L.A. Girl Pro Concealers is one of the many brands I’ve tried; I first learned of it through YouTube. These are definitely a great price. These come very well sealed in plastic and have a plastic brush like applicator. Supposedly the brush applicator can be removed but I was unable to do so and made a huge mess trying to do so. I found the brush tip to be a hindrance. These are very pigmented, especially the orange. While somewhat creamy right out of the tube, I found these easily settle into and accentuate fine lines and dry skin. In order to tone down the orange and create a lighter texture I mixed the orange with some moisturizer. While I found that both the orange and green helped combat discoloration, I also found that if your foundation starts wearing off the orange and green start showing. I also found the formula to be drying on my skin, even when mixed with some moisturizer. I also found I too much extra time doctoring and blending with these correctors. If you are more patient than me and don’t have dryness or fine lines, this definitely counteracts discoloration but remember to check your face every once in a while to make sure the bright orange and green aren’t peeking through.

Love these! Non-ashy and great coverage.

Usually these are overpriced considering they have them at a little rinky dink clothing store in my hometown for like $1 and ULTA tries to get $5 for each of these alone, but this was the best deal I found that was worth it.I’ve seen so many people have amazing results with this product so I HAD to try it. I usually have a lot of scarring from stress-picking at my face that shows through my foundation, eye bags and darkness around my eyes, and an overall uneven foundation look due to my chin being darker than the rest of my face and these concealers did an amazing job at giving me a fresh, bright, even look. I actually look like i sleep at night so you know I have to recommend these to everyone lol. These blend really well and have great coverage. They don’t end up looking ashy like most color correcting concealers do.The only things I don’t like are the applicator and the amount in each tube. To use them you have to squeeze the tube and it saturates the brush which you then use to apply the product. I don’t like the idea of using the same brush without cleaning it until the tube is empty. Even so, that shouldn’t take that long considering the tubes weren’t that full when I first opened them. However, I still think you get enough product, especially for the price. I definitely recommend this to anyone who has thought about trying these!
