Better than nothing
I really wanted to try these because I had been wanting to try a lash lift. But they’re usually pretty expensive to pay for. This DIY one seemed pretty cool and decently priced. You definitely do need glue, though, if you want to see major change that lasts.I tried it as it comes (without glue) and it works alright but doesn’t hold for very long unfortunately. I still like the product and use it sometimes, but I’d use glue or try something else for a longer-lasting hold. Still recommend if you want a quick lash lift that will last for a one-night event or something.

I like that these forms are not completely flat and are curved like our eyes are. That being said I still think you need some glue to keep them from moving during a lash lift as they are just silicon and aren’t sticky on either side. You definitely still need glue to stick your eyelashes to the form while doing a lash lift. I do think the are much nicer than the standard ones that come in the kits.

Not sure you could ever use these on yourself, but since I have multiple girls, they help each other out with stuff like this. They’re great, if you have a partner/friend/relative who can work with you to use these. If you’ve got a buddy, I would recommend them. For individual use, I would not.

I really wanted these to work so bad but they are NOT sticky. I needed to add glue to the back of them to make them stick 🙁

Great for sensitive eyes!
My eyes are super sensitive and I always have a reaction to the glue from glueing the lift pad to my eyelid. I perm myself or else I think it would work perfectly. Since I was sitting up, they did need to be secured. I used tape. Stayed on perfect for the entire perm!

Not what I was expecting nor anticipating!!
This 10pc lash lift shield set from ICONSIAMhas potential if the major flaws are fixed.This set arrived well packaged & the lift shield’s were in their own plastic container, which is a nice touch. To my surprise it also arrived with a set of silicone under eye patches which I much appreciated. However, after reviewing sellers images it shows lower lash shields as well, which I did not receive.Upon opening the plastic container, I noticed immediately one of the perm rods had a tiny black speck on it. After removing all lifts, ribbons, & Y-tool I noticed another black speck on 1 of the ribbons. Upon closer inspection a couple more lifts have bubbling defects on them. Please refer to my images as they clearly show what I am describing. I tried wiping off both black specks but with no avail. They are stuck permanently.The shield’s themselves are soft & flexible. I really like the “cat eye” lift design with the inner corner of rod being more narrow/shorter & the outer corner being wider/higher. However, there are no markings as to what size each perm rod is. This leaves the user guessing that they are using the same size as a pair (even matching them up is quite the task, because some are very similar in size) for performing a lash lift. Not only could this give uneven results, but also wonder to what size they actually used, & or what size to use the next time whether it be larger or smaller.Unfortunately, I do not feel comfortable using these lifts nor placing them anywhere near my eyes. Due to the hard black specks, the defects, & sizing not being indicated, it’s just not worth risking.

Glue free lash lift forms (and a little extra)
I do my own lash lifts at home because I can’t really justify spending $80+ for a lash tech to do it. I have a kit but gradually have lost the lash forms or they became so bogged down in glue crud I get frustrated and throw them away. I bought a new bag of glue-on lash forms recently but I saw these glueless lash forms and had to buy them.Honestly I think this will probably be best for people *not* doing their own lash lifts and having someone else do them so they can lay flat and not worry about the forms sliding around. Maybe one day when I can trust someone near my eyeballs with perm solution…The package comes with green and pink lash forms, blue Y lash combs, two pink sticks that I’m not sure the purpose of, and some blue things that I think are also lash forms but I’m not sure; all in a small reusable plastic case, which I like because I lose forms like I said.There is also a cute note from the company to let you know they also sell lash tint, and the best part is a free set of reusable silicone (?) under eye patches! I was legit so excited to see that because I was thisclose to buying a pair for $20.
