Love the Laura Geller Primer
Laura Geller’s primer for her makeup is amazing! One of the things I like most about it is the name. Call me crazy, but every time I reach to use it I get a chuckle. The name of her primer is called Spackle, which always makes me think of painting. There is an old southern saying when putting on makeup is often said to be “Paint the Barn.” I always think that I’m changing the way I look although not so much so that I am not recognizable from wearing my makeup to my naked face.The primer flows smoothly and there is great coverage. The amount required is minimal, about the size of your fingernail. The primer doesn’t have a strong smell, rather than just a light fresh smell. The coverage is excellent and gives you a nice smooth surface to apply foundation. However, the Glow Spackle is also a great primer, but it gives you enough coverage to wear alone. Applying your foundation is the same as usual, but with a nice smooth surface. The type of foundation isn’t limited to just the Pressed Makeup of Laura Geller, but traditional liquid, or cake makeup.I heartily recommend this package of two great makeup primers from Laura Geller

Nice for my sensitive sometimes acne prone skin
This did take a while to get to me when I ordered it. Packaged well, no messes with delivery.I have tried Laura Geller makeup products before and this did not disappoint. I like that there is included a hydrate and champagne glow of which I prefer the glow but the hydrate one is also nice. I just like the added touch of sheen that can be worn on it’s own when I use it with a moisturizer.Often times, my makeup routine just consists of this primer, sunscreen, and blush.The texture is velvety and easily blends well into the skin. Doesn’t feel heavy and is light.I have sensitive skin and also acne prone when trying new products and this didn’t give me any issues.When I use this with my foundation, it does make it last longer and makes it better to apply to my skin.This would be absolutely perfect if SPF as it would save me a step, otherwise great primer.

Faulty pump
NY spackle duo primers are ok quality wise, but delivery system is faulty. One of the primers, moisturizing one, has tube detached from pump so I have to either open top and squeeze primer out or return it. I’m still undecided on that.
