I didn’t like it
Sorry LIP INK, it’s great that you are organic and vegan, but you products have such a strong horrific smell that I don’t want anywhere near my face. I’m not sure if I ordered too quickly, if this lip stain even mentioned that a “kit” is needed, or if I just didn’t receive the kit with my purchase. These lip stains are part of a “Three product system”, but I didn’t receive the conditioner, just the colors and cleanser. Regardless, I don’t like the smell or the burning sensation on my lips that you describe as a “tingle”.

Cruelty free makeup and looks great!
I keep this in the car and use it all the time. Even if I’m a mess, if I put this on and wear big sunnies, I look fabulous. The color doesn’t smudge off and stays on for hours. I don’t have to remove it at the end of the day, which is nice. There could be more moisture in the item, but aside from that, I’m quite happy with my purchase.

I’ve heard this is the lip color of choice for porn stars, and I can see why – this lip stain does not come off until you take it off on purpose. I fell asleep with it on and it was there the next day exactly in the way I had applied it! One small comment is that the lipstick can be quite drying- you can feel what I’m guessing is an alcohol product as the color sets. But, other lip stains like Color Stay are drying as well, and they don’t last as long. This product will definitely be my go to product for special occasions.

Ouch. Just painful. Don’t do it.
“Tingle” ha. Straight up painful. You shake the container like a can of spray paint, then the instructions say to slowly remove the applicator. Okay, that’s abnormal. So remove away; and then you smell it. The smell is extremely harsh, and only enhances the illusion that you’re about to spray paint your face. (Where’s the nozzle!?).Then it just hurts. Like “Aaaaah! Run to get the towel and try and scrub this off” hurts. I’m pretty sure my lips were numb for about an hour afterwards.

More purple than expected
For me Lip Ink is a better product than Lipsense. It stays on better. However, picking a color based on the swatches never works. My lips have a nice pink color to them, so rosewood looks pretty purple and not muted like I was hoping for. Also very dark. 2 layers is nice, but I don’t have the clear to add the 3rd layer it needs.
