Looks Incredibly Real
In another review someone described this blood as looking almost like coagulated blood. I have to agree with their analysis. In my opinion this blood does look very real. I have had experience with trying out different types of fake bloods for my Halloween costume but I often found other products to be inferior as they just don’t look real.I don’t know how the manufacturers did it but when this fake blood dries it dries like real blood. I noticed this because I used a paper towel to wipe off the fake blood and left it in the garbage. When I came back to the garbage I saw the paper towel I used and realized this the blood looked incredibly real and I decided to hide it or one of my family members would have surely thought someone would have severely injured themselves. lol.The instructions say to put some Vaseline on fake blood to make it look more like a fresh would and this works perfectly. The container is small but because the blood is so thick, it will surprisingly last a long time. Either because I will be able to use the blood on many separate occasions or I can use it to do a very large makeup job.I highly recommend this product and I firmly believe that future customers will also share my positive opinions as well.

Faux scab making blood paste
This blood paste on its own doesn’t make realistic bloody scabs.

Looks so real
I’ve tried several fake blood things throughout the years and while some worked good, others were a huge fail. But this stuff is legit! It’s easy to work with, just used a Q-tip to apply it. You can build it up if you want more or just use a little. My daughter is a vampire queen for Halloween so we’ve been practicing with this for the big night. It gives the perfect effect. I hope it will stay good for years to come since it’s a screw on lid. But if not, it’s cheap enough to buy again and I would definitely get it again! Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely perfect
I never used a better fake blood product than this one. I was skeptical that it would do as it says but wow it exceeded my expectations. The paste is thick and the color is spot on for an old blood color. When you layer this it looks so gross and realistic. Perfect to make blisters on your face by your lips. I did not get any skin rashes or irritation from this product. There is no scent and it washed off so easy.

Pretty realistic
A lot of store Halloween makeup isn’t the most realistic of quality and includes the bright red “fake” blood. This product had the coloration closer to real blood and because it isn’t watery, can create “scabs” and certain “wounds”.I’ve found that most fake blood makeup does stain the skin. This was no different and it does come off after a good bath and soak. It is expected and you can try to use makeup remover to get as much of the staining as possible. It’s a good product overall. Better than what I get at the big box stores.

Realistic and Easy to Use
This blood paste is fantastic for creating convincing wounds and scars. The texture is spot-on – it really looks like coagulated blood once applied. I’ve used it for Halloween costumes and amateur theater, and it always gets a great reaction. It’s easy to work with and stays put for hours. The only downside is it can be a bit tricky to remove completely, so be prepared for some scrubbing. Overall, it’s a great product for anyone into special effects makeup.

Great for Plays, Costumes, and Creative Projects
I got this scab blood paste for a Halloween event and a small play, and it was amazing. The product is exactly as described and provides a realistic, high-quality look that doesn’t feel or look cheap at all. It’s thick and easy to work with, making it simple to create detailed cuts, wounds, and other effects. The consistency is perfect for sculpting and molding realistic textures, and the effect stays intact even after hours of wear. I used it for both a spooky costume and a stage performance, and it held up under the lights without smudging or losing its realistic appearance. This is definitely theatrical-level quality, ideal for anyone looking to elevate their Halloween costumes, plays, or even film projects. It’s long-lasting and gives an incredible professional finish. If you’re into creating dramatic effects, I can’t recommend this enough. It’s perfect for any creative project where you want realistic-looking blood effects.

Looks real enough to really make a costume look freaky
This fake blood has that dark and clumpy look of coagulated blood. It’s darker and thicker than other fake blood products, and when mixed with makeup, props, and other fake blood this can create a realistic effect.

Great quality, looks very real!
Looks very real! Some my friends were concerned i was really bleeding. It was a little difficult to put on and spread correctly but if you really were bleeding/blood stains wouldnt look “correctly” anyway. Took a while to make it look good and not just “pasted on” but once done it looked very realistic!Keeping for halloween next year and might buy more.

Bloody good!
Great for special effects or Halloween make up. You get a lot in this jar, so it’s enough for multiple applications. I would definitely recommend grabbing this for your spooky scary makeup looks.

Not like gel blood
Not good for fresh scab/wound costume make up. It’s a sticky, shiny (like glitter shiny) bronze. Not like gel blood at all.I’d give it one star for what I was looking for.

A nice quality blood formula
This is a really nice quality scab blood paste, from Narrative Cosmetics in Los Angeles (manufactured in China). The plastic pot containing the blood is boxed. The design is minimalist, but quite stylish. Rather brave putting fake blood in a mostly white box though! The consistency is quite thick, like a paste. It’s akin to Marmite. I recommend using a cotton bud or other applicator to apply it, as it will quite quickly mess up your fingers. It’s a very deep red, which is quite realistic. Combined with a liquid blood, you can achieve some very realistic looking wounds. By using a bit of Vaseline, you can make the blood look fluid, and I found that mixing a little bit of water into it can made a nice runny blood if you need to do do fresh blood effects. It dries fairly fast and is doesn’t transfer or move much once it’s totally dry, which is great if you need the make-up effect to stay in place for a while.Clean-up is pretty quick and easy with some soapy water or make-up remover. Just be careful of clothing, as it will make a non-permanent pink stain on anything light coloured.Overall, I’m impressed with this blood formula. Great for costume make-ups, and the quality is good enough for professional stage and screen use.
