I love it!
It does get a little messy (just a little!), but you can easily clean off the mess with a cotton bud, a clean brush, or even your fingers. I used my fingers, as it was much more practical for me that way.I also lightly applied face oil around my face and slightly under my eyes before applying the eyeliner, which helped clean up any smudges very quickly. I didn’t need to rub much at all to remove any mess.It actually gets even better after the first use because some of the product stays around the lash line, even after washing your face. That means you don’t necessarily need to reapply it the next day. I usually apply it every two or three days.There’s no need to worry about removing every last bit at once, since it’s lead-free and chemical-free. After washing my face, I simply enhance the remaining line with a pencil eyeliner on the second day. By the third day, it has faded much more, so that’s usually when I reapply.I also didn’t have any issues with the application stick. It didn’t bother me at all, one smooth motion and it was on. Good stuff!

Love the look of it on me and the natural materials. However i struggle with application, major fallout and on my very fair and sensitive skin it becomes a HUGE MESS. I basically have to wash my whole face again and reapply skin products and it makes my whole face routine take way too long. Especially if i accidentally get my eyes wet and it starts running. I have watched countless ‘how to’ videos and i dont understand what i am doing wrong.

Wow the price tripled in less than a year, definitely a con since this eyeliner is very simple to make, probably affected by politics in America. The color is very deep and beautiful, I have gotten so many compliments. It does not last all day, im not sure why people claim that it does, it smudges throughout the day and you have to reapply and clean your water line throughout the day. I’ve used this during the summer and the winter, more challenging to stay on during the summer. Ive. Found if you put primer around your eyes and translucent powder it stays on longer.

I could overlook the messiness as a possible learning curve. What I absolutely cannot overlook is how irritating it was to my eyes. I applied it to my top and bottom waterline, as instructed, and it was an immediate NO. It has a gritty feel to it and my eyes became bloodshot and inflamed. I removed the product but now even after several days, I can still feel eye irritation. I am going to throw it in the trash and eat the cost instead of a return because other comments allude to Amazon reselling opened/used packages. Not on my watch.

This khol eyeliner is great…not only is it good for my eyes but it’s pretty and easy to use! In the pics I have on the eyeliner and a bit of mascara, this was my first time using it and I must say I’m pleased. I tried to use it by placing it between my closed lids and swiping but that didn’t work out as I wanted so I then used it as I would a standard liner. Cleanup was easy using a light moisturizer. Yes there was some fallout but not much…just make sure to slightly shake the wand up against the tube while pulling out. The bottle is just as cute as the pictures and it came nicely packaged and intact. I would definitely recommend and repurchase!Oh and it doesn’t make my eyes burn😉*EditAfter wearing the khol for the first time I do have to state that the liner did run and somewhat clump up in the outer corners of my eyes after a few hours

Like the video, this goes on the waterline, To minimize fall out and waste, i use the tip to gently pat product along my water line and between my lashes. it naturally smudges out as you wear it, so apply it before your foundation.I like to wear gold under eye gel patches before I apply this to catch the bulk of the fallout, and moisturize my under eye area.If you are doing this for your first time i recommend lining your under eye area (from the side of your nose to the peak of your cheekbone) with a beeswax chap stick or cream, so you can just wipe the fall out away and not tug on the sensitive under eye skin.The initial feeling is like “woah, dirt in my eye” and then “ahhhhh” – but it honestly feels preferrable to most eyeliners I’ve used.Some comments are that there is very little product in the container, that the container itself makes waste. I disagree and agree.I purchased two, and used them to refill a brass surmadani bottle, there was more than enough to refill it. one bottle should last about a month. Each bottle has about 1 MAC pressed eyeshadow pan worth of (not pressed) loose kohl. Worth the price.the olive wood bottle will cause waste, I do recommend emptying yours into a brass bottle designed to be reused.Be careful to stay on top of your eye hygiene, and you can definitely sleep with this on, making it stretch a bit more – and you wakeup looking smokey and amazing. I wont be going back to American style eye liner. Pure is best. 10/10

Pigment is amazing and vibrant. Very good for tightlining, not messy at all. Didn’t need to clean up fallout. Didn’t irritate my eyes either, and lasted all day.
