Definitely Keeps Oil Away
Definitely recommend. Goes on smooth, not super expensive, and WORKS.Still not 100% sure how it works at holding up my makeup (it’s been 100+ the last week plus wearing my mask around town, so there’s not much that can hold it on forever haha)BUTI’m one of those unlucky few whose face is constantly oily. I actually HAVE to wear my matte foundation every day to prevent oil buildup, that’s how bad it is. If I don’t wear makeup, my whole face is practically dripping oil by noon. Ridiculous.This serum stopped that! I put it on for the last few days after my toner/moisturizer ritual and had no oil buildup all day! (WITHOUT drying my face out. Just a natural, neutral feeling.)

Leider hat das Produkt die versprochene Wirkung nicht erbracht. Von shine control habe ich nichts gemerkt. Sowohl als primer als auch als Serum empfinde ich das Produkt unangenehm klebrig auf der Haut und nach kurzer Zeit glänzt das Gesicht stark. Für zu Unreinheiten neigende Haut nicht geeignet. Ich habe vermehrt Pickel bekommen nach der Anwendung. Sehr schade habe mir für den Preis mehr erhofft.

The BEST for oily skin!
TLDR: So I have combo skin (OILY on my forehead), and mattefying products haven’t worked OTHER than this one! I use a drop with my sunscreen, and then another drop with my foundation. I barely have to dabble my face during the day, and it’s lasted a full 8 hours! Super lightweight and absolutely clear.Pros:- Good gel consistency, so one drop goes a long way! The consistency also helps with dealing with very watery formulas- Lightweight and sheer, no worries about smearing/coloring elsewhere/etc.- Mixes with other liquid products incredibly easily!- Ultimately effective and does exactly what it says it will, without causing any other acne or skin issues (no skin irritation at all, and I have VERY sensitive skin!)Cons:- Depending on how you feel about cosmetics, could seem overpriced. But again, 2 drops go a long way for oily skin, so up to you- Consistency makes the dropper a little weird to use. You have to pinch the top rubber part once or twice while the dropper is fully submerged in order to get product- Scales with weather. Will need about 3 drops in warmer days, 4 in summer (think NYC Manhattan summer heat)

I never write reviews but this product worked so good I HAD to.I have been suffering from super oil skin ever since perimenopause has hit.Like it was bad. Nice primer + serum
I have tried multiple different primer and this one is by far the best in controlling my T-zone shine. It’s lightweight and quick to dry so I can almost apply my foundation right away.

Did not control the oil on my face as much as I would like. I used Mary Kay Oil Mattifier and that worked better. I tried this to replace since it was Neutrogena but for me I had more shine that with the other product

Loooooove this as a primer!
This is a GREAT deal on a primer plus serum. U can’t ever go wrong with neutrogena, ever! I mix this with my neutrogena hydro boost moisturizer and BAM! it works like a charm. This is the only second primer I’ve ever used, and the both didn’t work like I imagined. I thought my pores would be literally invisible, but it does work enough to cover them up nicely and gives a nice look to my face. Kinda brightens it up a bit. I still would like to know what primer actually makes ur pores COMPLETELY invisible (if there is one). But for the price and that this is a 2-in-one, this is pretty great!! Oh and I have oily, sensitive skin (not REALLY sensitive thou!). Amazon, u helped me again, thank u! Lol. If anyone has a primer that REALLY, TRULY covers up your pores, at a decent price, please let me know in a comment of ur own. Hope this helps!!

Doesn’t work! I’ve had oily skin forever and was on the fence about buying because of all the negative and positive reviews 🤷♀️ It was on sale so I decided to purchase and I first washed my face then used my old lady moisturizer, added this, let dry and applied my makeup. The photo attached is of an oil absorbing paper within 4 hours after using this item. Oil from my face has covered this paper! I’ll go back to using my $5 matte primer which does a much better job and it’s a lesson learned. Shame on you Neutrogema.
