Good make up set to start with
I purchased this makeup palette for my six-year-old daughter, who loves playing with makeup. I like that it comes with natural-looking colors, and she really likes the shine that each shade has.The makeup case arrived in a nice box and was in great condition. The makeup also had a protective seal that was easy to remove. One of the palette trays doesn’t sit completely flush and sticks up a little higher than the others, but it doesn’t affect the overall use of the set.Keep in mind that this palette does not come with any brushes or applicators, so you’ll need to have some at home. We also found that it takes quite a bit of pressure to get enough product onto the brush, or you have to apply several coats to get the color to show up. The makeup is a little oily, but that does help it stay on the skin well.Overall, this was a nice set for my daughter to play with and experiment with makeup. I’m not sure how well it would work for an adult who applies makeup regularly, but for a young child who enjoys playing with makeup, it’s been a fun set.

Great for a Starter set
This set is ok but not great. You’ll have to manage your expectations and for that reason I think it’s great for starters or for a vacation.The colors are actually very nice. I don’t think you would get good results with a brush but with a sponge applicator or a finger it’s easier to get more pigment out of it. It has to be rubbed well and with quite a few passes but once you do the pigment is released and ready. The formula is just a little bit chalky and doesn’t spread too well but again that can be solved with a sponge applicator. Once on the colors are true and actually pretty vibrant. They are shiny and metallic in nature and the shades would probably lend themselves best to medium to darker skin.The compact though is not so good. the pans are barely in there and I’m sure will need to be reglued into the compact in the near future. The case itself is light plastic and would probably break if dropped. However one shining point in the compact is the mirror. The mirror is a decent size and very nice. It’s clear, not wavy and fits well into the top.The value for the money is decent in todays age, but it’s better if you come across a coupon.

Pretty Palette with Soft Formula, but I Wanted More Pigment
This is a pretty makeup palette with a beautiful gold compact that feels elegant and looks nice on a vanity. Although it’s marketed for both eyes and cheeks, I personally would only use it as an eyeshadow palette. I suppose some of the shades could work as a bronzer or blush, but I think they are much better suited for eye makeup.One feature I really like is that the individual pans pop out easily, so you can place them into a magnetic travel palette if you prefer to customize your makeup collection.The formula is interesting—it’s very buttery and soft, somewhere between a traditional powder and a cream shadow. It feels smooth to the touch and blends nicely.For me, though, the pigmentation was a little disappointing. The shades are a bit darker than I typically wear, and I found I had to build them up with several layers to get the color payoff I wanted. Unlike some other shimmer formulas that give strong coverage with a light swipe, these require more pressure to pick up product. I actually had better luck applying them with my finger than with an eyeshadow brush, since the brushes didn’t pick up enough product.In the photo I included, I used multiple layers and applied the shadow with my finger using quite a bit of pressure, and that’s the amount of coverage I achieved. With other similar palettes, I can usually get significantly more color payoff and shimmer with a single light swipe.Overall, it’s a nice palette with attractive packaging and a unique texture, but I would have preferred stronger pigmentation and easier application. It’s a decent product, just not one of my favorites.

Multi-purpose ~ Shimmering earth toned colors
This palette comes in a lightweight shiny gold compact with built in mirror. It contains four different shimmering earth toned colors of makeup. All have decent pigmentation and a really soft formula that feels like a cross between a powder and a cream. While they can be used for multiple purposes, I found that the palette colors work best for me as eyeshadows and have had fun creating new and different looks. I particularly like the white shadow as it is great for highlighting the corners of my eyes. Overall, I am very happy with it!

This Color Set is a Winner For Sparkly Fun
I love a versatile set of shiny colors in a compact. This set hits all my marks with 4 distinct colors that can be applied as a blush or eyeshadow, or even for an all-over glow. I give it five stars for presentation and product—I love applying it, and the case and colors are beautiful. The lack of a decent mirror and applicator knocked it down to four stars. Additionally, they should up their game by listing the ingredients in their formulation. That said, it is a good value comparatively for what you get. The protection and beautiful box make this a great gift for anyone who loves to collect fun and versatile eye and cheek sets (and who, like me, already has enough applicators in their stash).Here are the specifics: This set arrived well-protected inside a box in a bubble wrap envelope. The product box is shrink-wrapped. The listing has no information on the formulation of the product—just the standard “paraben-free” statement. Alexa suggested contacting the company. I decided to test them so you wouldn’t have to–I left them on my skin for 4 hours to ensure that I wouldn’t have an allergic reaction before posting this review. I’m a good test subject as I tend to have instant skin sensitivity, especially to fragrances. I can’t detect any fragrance. I did not experience any irritation.The powder was in perfect condition when I received it. The compact has a mirror which is polished metal, not glass so it’s usable but not great. Also, it does not come with any kind of applicator, although there is enough space to put a small makeup pad, cotton pad or a very small foam applicator inside. The cotton pad in the picture fits perfectly inside the case.What surprised me the most was how creamy and dense the product is. There is enough oil carrier for this to really go on and stay on the skin. In fact, if you’re confident in yourself, you could easily just swipe with your best blending finger and apply it directly to your cheeks or eyes. I applied the test stripes with my favorite angled eyeshadow brush. I used 5 strokes per color to demo them. The boldest by far is the bronzer—I had full bronzer color in two strokes. Once I applied them, I could spread them easily with my fingertips to shape the color as needed. It’s impressive to feel the solid nature of the product. I thought I would see more dust but no dust whatsoever. The pictures in the listing make the product look like loose powder, but it is not.The sparkly and bold nature of this set—especially the bronzer which is my favorite–makes it most appropriate for evenings on the town or party night or girls’ night out—you get the picture. If you are a 24/7 bold-and-sassy girl, this set is your daily. The listing does not do this set justice—colors are deeper and brighter in person. I was going to give this to my daughter but…I like it so much I might just keep it myself for my next girls’ night out.

Beautiful colors and perfect for everyday makeup
I really like this makeup palette! The colors are beautiful and give you everything you need for a quick makeup look in one compact palette. The shades blend nicely and have good pigmentation without being too overwhelming. I especially like that you can use it for both the eyes and cheeks, which makes it convenient for traveling or keeping in your purse. The packaging is also really cute. Overall, it’s a pretty and versatile little palette that I’ve enjoyed using.

I really wanted to like it but too many mishaps
Let me start by saying the packaging is beautiful. It is a mirrored gold color. The clasp is easy to open. You just push the button and pull the lid up. On the inside is a mirror. It does have a protective film on it but just use your finger nail or some tweezers to get it off. The pallet consist of eye and face colors. A 4 in 1 set. The claims are that it is ultra hold, silky and smooth application and radiance enhancing. The white is for the brow bone, the brown for the eyes, the pinkish color for the cheeks and the reddish brown for the collar bone. I have pictured them striped in order, but not fully blended and then two “fully blended “ one with flash the other without. The pictures with the circles are where it weirdly started clumping the more I blended it. It is not very pigmented at all. Just to get the swatches on I had to go over the same line several passes. I mean like 5-6 just to see the color. I’m African American so it may not be the same with someone with fair skin. I tried to blend them out together just to see how easy it would be. It wasn’t. Initially I tried with a brush that was pretty firm and it wouldn’t let me stipple it. I ended up just sweeping back and forth. It looked terrible and streaky. So I figured my fingers may do better. Negative. That’s when this weird clumping started to happen. Where ever I moved my finger it would clump. For my experience there was no blend ability. I’m not sure about the hold power. I looked so ridiculous I had to take it off immediately. Shipping took about 3 days but that’s probably because of Memorial Day.

Okay, not great makeup palette
Travel-friendliness is the entire reason I bought this. Eyes, cheeks, and a glow all consolidated into one compact palette means I can do a complete face out of a single item in my bag. The shades are finely milled and blend out without going patchy or chalky, and they build up nicely if you want more intensity rather than maxing out in one swipe. The highlight in particular is pretty and lit-from-within rather than chunky and glittery, which suits my preference for a softer glow. The blush and contour shades are wearable everyday tones rather than anything intimidating. But, there’s not a lot of pigment here. Honestly, it’s about on par with the kind of cheap makeup you can find in a discount store. It’s not bad, just not great. I think it’s a little overpriced, but it’s an okay, buildable palette.
