I was specifically shopping for pans for my magnetic case. Only one shape in one of the boxes would stick.You could buy extra pieces of metal to stick to them, but it’s way more convenient to just buy pans that work.

Unfortunately not all the pans are magnetic which seems very bizarre to me. Only the large square pans were magnetic, the rest were not. I promptly returned them as more than half the package is unusable.

These little pans do the job well. I love that there are multiple sizes so it’s easier to fit different sized containers. I have already filled one business card case. Even though they are shallow, they hold more paint than you would think, and watercolor or gouache doesn’t take a lot of paint. A little goes a long way…for plein air painting in sketchbook anyway. Highly recommend.

As described, great product.Made a watercolor palette with it.I will say the squared ones are a different metal than the other rectangular ones. Initially they look like they’re all the same type of metal but when I went to replace/ change the layout of of my palette I noticed the squares were sticking even though I hadn’t put any magnetic tape on them yet; happily surprised.
