Wide choice of shades, soft cream that’s easy to apply with good coverage.
This is a nice soft cream Foundation stick which provides very good coverage and is also very easy to apply. Compared with the other cream sticks that I’ve used this one is slightly softer and is easier to blend in. I would say that the coverage is medium but the product does allow multiple layers to be applied.I also tried this Foundation with a color corrector being applied first of all and it had no trouble covering the color corrector and providing a good overall effect.The foundation is available in a wide variety of shades, so you should be able to find something that suits you. At the time of review this is £9.99, which is a little bit more than I usually pay, but it’s probably worth it for the ease of application and the wide choice of shades.

Not for me
I wanted to like this but the pigment was patchy and I cannot get it to wear well for more than two hours. I’ve tried it on top of water and oil based moisturizers with and without primer and it just doesn’t suit my dry skin. I think the darker shades may work well for a natural contour or bronzer.

Very creamy and blendable
This sheer foundation stick doesn’t provide the best coverage since it’s sheer, but it IS of nice quality. The foundation itself is very smooth and just easily glides on. Application is easy, especially with the stick and it doesn’t dry out my skin. It feels very hydrating actually, creamy and is easy to blend. Unfortunately, the color doesn’t match my skin tone. Hard to tell and color match when shopping online.

one issue i have when buying cosmetic online is i don’t get to try it. i had to guess what shade i was and it turns out what i may be one shade from a different brand, i may not be the same shade for another brand (in this case — this brand).the medium to tan shade is one tone / shade darker than my skin. i should have gotten medium. And now i cannot return it.the product is very smooth – glides onto the skin well. but it leaves a glittery, shimmery texture on my skin which i do not like. it feels light and it’s not oily at all. the coverage is okay.

Convenient form-factor, odd coloration
Pros: The “stick” form factor is great for carrying along and touch-ups – really easy application and transportation.Cons: Color/tone doesn’t seem to match anyone. I get that color matching online is REALLY difficult, so I’m not completely ready to blame the manufacturer here, but this medium-tan seems much closer to a dark tan coloration. Admittedly, it’s almost springtime, so winter “tan” isn’t going to be as dark as summer, but my experience echos others’ that these seem to run much darker than expected.My advice is either shop these in person to find the right tone or at least order one or more shades lighter than desired and work your way towards the right darkness.

Sheer coverage and very hydrating
Revolution is a very good brand and I like the quality of their products as well as the affordable prices. This Skin Silk Glow Tint Sheer Foundation Stick is available in various shades and I ordered the color “Medium Tan Neutral” which was a bit darker in person than the product pictures but still worked very well on my skin especially because it has very Sheer-Light Coverage. You can apply another layer as it’s Buildable and you can add to the coverage but it still blends so smoothly and evenly on the skin. It is very hydrating and I like the applicator as a stick product so you can directly apply on the skin and blend it with makeup brushes or beauty sponges.

Great as a bronzer for pale people!
When I swiped this on my (very fair) cheeks, I immediately thought, “Oh, this is WAY too dark!” But it blended down to practically nothing (see photos)! That might seem like a drawback at first, but this may be the best bronzer for very fair skin I’ve ever seen! The coverage is buildable, so I probably could have gone a little darker for a more tanned look, but I really like that this added such a subtle touch of color to my skin. I have very fair cool skin. Ivory can look dark on me. I typically avoid anything that adds warmth because it doesn’t look right on me. But this foundation actually lets me add the kind of subtle tint I like.It’s a great option for adding color in the winter, especially since it’s slightly moisturizing. My menopausal skin definitely requires more moisture these days, so this works well in the freezing Northeast. Still, I think this will be too moisturizing in the summer for me. My t-zone can still get shiny in warm humid conditions. Maybe with a little setting powder it will work.It swiped on easily, no tugging. A nice and creamy texture that doesn’t feel too heavy.I plan on trying this foundation in a fair cool color for a more everyday look.
