    If like it ODD—You Gotta Hear This!!

    Why is Ann Magnusun (vocals for Bongwater) not ultra-famous? She comes up with the best lines that, I swear, you will be using as if they’re your own! The music though is very conveluted and symiotic, with multiple layers and and cords that don’t seem that they fit (but they actually do, according to my music major friends). This is perfomance art at it’s best! The CD is worth buying, if anything, for the last song “Folk Song,” or “Obscean and Pornographic Art”—GREAT…they will buckle you over!P.S. Ann Magnuson is also a character actress. I’ve seen her pop up now and then in movies. The last one being the real estate agent in “Panic Room.”

    Average rock music does not separate itself from so many other CDs of its time. Disappointed but might listen several more times and give it another chance

    radically good album

    I revisted this album recently after having my best buddy tell me in the mid 90’s that I absolutely had to listen to it. And he was right. I had forgotten what a truly varied, eccentric and beautiful trip of an album this is. The passion of the politics of sex , more relevant than ever in an age addicted to porn-style low culture, is perfectly complimented by Ann Magnusson’s great voice and Kramer’s varied instrumentation. The album has it all – rockers, ballads, spoken word.Like another reviewer said if you “get” this album, you probably rock…
