Finishing Powder - Matte is a silky blend of the lightest minerals. Applied after foundation, Matte will aid in oil absorption, as well as add a smooth, matte, airbrushed look. Our Finishing Powder - Matte appears white but applies translucently over any of our foundation shades. Only a very small amount is needed. If face is whitening, too much product is being used. Finishing Powder - Matte can also be mixed with any of our foundations for a lighter coverage foundation.

Works as promised
I am really happy with the coverage and shine stopping ability of this powder. I am 54 and have changed my makeup regimen from a foundation that accented my wrinkles, to a tinted moisturizer followed by this powder. I use it on the forehead, eyelids, and in the nose and chin areas. I like the more natural look of my skin now.

Coverage: not so much.
It works, but coverage isnt great. I have used other silica powders before (makeup forever, smashbox) and they work a lot better. If you keep layering it on or mix it with other products it works ok.

Very nice finishing powder
I used to have very bad acne so I’m pretty picky about what products I use on my skin. I only wash my face with honey – and rarely use any moisturizer. I don’t use foundation of any kind. But, I do like this finishing powder – just a light brushing to keep the oil sheen down. It works beautifully – you can’t even tell it’s there, which is exactly how I prefer it.

i have extremely light skin, so it is very hard to find a mineral powder light enough…i mix this with a tinted mineral powder and it gives me the perfect shade! i work long hours, dust some on 1st thing in the morning, and NEVER have to retouch!

I like the product but had hoped for a larger container
I like the product but had hoped for a larger container. I’m sure I read the size wrong. I tend to get it on my make-up table while using it with my powder brush.

I did not care for this powder at all. I got it to try something different than the Bare Minerals mineral veil powder but this made my face itch constantly and made my skin break out.
