It’s okay…. Didn’t do much for me
I’ve heard a lot of good things about this brand, and I really wanted to try it.Anything from the brand really. But I came across this mascara so I gave it to go.My eyes water a lot so I have to have a waterproof mascara. But I can speak to the application process and the outcome. But as far as longevity of wear, I can’t because my eyes water. So it did not stay on my eyes.It definitely gives raccoon eyes if you’re sweating or something.It has a soft and silky texture and doesn’t clump. I don’t have long eyelashes or thick. So I feel like unless you do, this kind of wand doesn’t work the way you think it will.The formula didn’t burn my eyes and I had no allergic reactions to it. But for me it wasn’t buildable enough and it didn’t lengthen or volumize my eyelashes the way I prefer.Even given my experience with this mascara I would still try their other items. Especially a waterproof mascara.

It’s a keeper!
Sheglam can give any drugstore brand – and some high-end brands, honestly – a run for the money! I have a lot of Sheglam products (as well as a LOT of other brands, I’m kind of a makeup hoarder) and I have been happy with everything I’ve purchased from this brand. This mascara is no different.I’ve never used a mascara that looks this good with one coat, applying easily WITHOUT being goopy or messy. I mean, there isn’t even that omnipresent mascara booger on the end of the wand when I pull it out! Maybe that will change as the tube ages some, but I’m just super pleased with how easily it builds while at the same time not being thick, wet, and gooey. I usually go for two coats just because I like my mascara a little excessive, but one coat actually WOULD be enough for everyday makeup. I don’t have any problem with smudging or flaking, but it comes off incredibly easy with only water, just as it claims.This is SO worth $7. I like it more than any of the drugstore mascaras I have including Loreal and Maybelline, and truthfully, I prefer it to Benefit’s BAD gal BANG.

Buildable Volumizing Mascara
Overall, this mascara is pretty good. I like that it’s not too wet or dry. It volumizes my lashes well. It gives them a good length, and it’s buildable. It doesn’t clump, and lashes are separated well. I like it and would consider repurchasing.

Incredible volume and separation without clumping or smudging
This mascara provides massive length and dramatic volume with just a single coat. The wand bristles grip every tiny lash, separating them cleanly for a full, fan-like effect that doesn’t clump up. It holds a curl exceptionally well all day long and doesn’t flake off into dark circles under the eyes, yet it still removes easily with standard cleanser.

Big volume for six dollars, wear time is the tradeoff
The brush is dense enough to grab every lash in one swipe and builds volume fast without much clumping, as long as you wipe the wand first. For under seven dollars this beats a lot of drugstore mascara I have tried on clients before events. It does flake a little by the end of a twelve hour day, small black specks show up under the eyes by evening. It is also not fully waterproof, a good cry or a sweaty workout will bring it down. For everyday wear or a quick glam before a shoot, it earns a spot in my kit. For a wedding day or anything involving tears, pair it with a waterproof formula on top.

Equal amount of cons as there is pros!
I’ve found tons of hidden gems with sheglam so trying this was definitely exciting. I like the bristle brush but I wish it wasn’t so tightly packed together. As you can see in the photo it clearly coated my lashes but it dries so fast that your gonna want to get that first swipe really covered. I tried to go over them but my lashes were already super dried unless you have a lash comb it’s gonna be pretty hard getting through. The pigment was okay, not as dark as I would’ve liked but I do appreciate that it wasn’t that messy type of product that’s extremely wet and goes everywhere. Keep in mind that I did use a lash curler before and I actually invested in a good one that was about $20. This is something you should consider because it makes almost all mascaras look incredible when you have a nice lifted lash that doesn’t fall. Another technique I use is right after I apply the mascara I’ll hold my lashes straight up on front of any type of fan and that makes a huge difference. It dries then sticking straight up so they don’t fall from the weight of Mascara. I do like this mascara but in all honesty I’ve tried so many it’s hard to say I absolutely love it. I think it works okay and for the price it’s really good. I mean if you’re like me and have tiny lashes that are short and don’t stand up then you’ll see that it made a good amount of lift. I just wish it didn’t dry down so fast making it impossible to do more coats. I will say that it’s extremely long lasting and for me that’s a big plus since I usually opt for only waterproof.

Fierce, bold mascara
This mascara gives TONS of volume and length to my lashes in a DARK carbon black formula that adds drama and emphasis to my eyes. It’s perfect for all sorts of eye looks from creative, smoky, clean girl, and anything in between where you want big and bold lashes. This isn’t the best mascara for keeping my lashes curled but also far from the worst — they fall a bit but not completely throughout the day (I have very straight, downturned lashes on the top). This mascara is fabulous for lower lashes too, especially when I want spiky lower lashes, I put a bunch of this on and use a tweezer to pull the spikes together. It also looks good when i add lower lashes clusters too. Sheglam is the QUEEN of mascara IMO and this is another fantastic formula for an incredible value. I highly recommend!

Great Volumizing Mascara
I love the Sheglam Brand and I’ve tried several of their mascaras. Big Energy Mascara is just fabulous! The color is a true black. The formula goes on smoothly without clumping. You can use one coat for just a little pick me up, or layer it for a more dramatic look (I have two coats on in the comparison photo).This mascara adds a ton of volume to short, skimpy lashes. It has a large, thick, brush that has fairly long bristles that help lift and separate. This mascara is fast drying. It sets quickly and doesn’t smudge or flake off during the day. It comes of easily with micellar water and a cotton pad. It didn’t irritate my sensitive eyes.I am always impressed with the quality of Sheglam products. The brand is owned by women, cruelty free, and offers quality cosmetics at drugstore prices. If you haven’t tried a Sheglam product yet, you are missing out.
