This Speaks Volume Mascara from Arbonne is from a brand unfamiliar to me, but I am not likely to forget it now. I found it’s strange that there is no color label on the box or on it’s product page, but after using it, I would call it a soft black or even very dark brown (colorblind, so I really can’t tell the difference). Either way, I like that it is not that stark black, which I think can look harsh on aging eyes. My natural lashes are mostly nonexistent and I look for mascara to give them length more than anything else. This mascara does that beautifully with very little fuss. I did use an eyelash curler before application, and this mascara gave length to my lashes quickly and easily. The first application I used the saw motion to separate the lashes, then with the second I simply swooped the wand straight out. There was no clumping, but I didn’t allow the coat to dry before going on to the second one because I have found that this is a good way to not allow clumping. I probably could have done more coats to add volume, but I was happy with the look so didn’t bother trying. I like that the wand for this mascara is standard, meaning it’s the shape that I’m used to from using mascara for the past 50 years, so why mess with a good thing? After application, I wore the mascara all day and none of it seemed to flake off. At the end of the day, my lashes looked exactly the same as they did when I applied it. Really my only grievance with this product is the price, which is $32., ouch. I don’t think we are reinventing the wheel here, so the price seems a bit much and I have deducted one star for that. Other than the high price, it’s a really high performing mascara but I likely wouldn’t purchase it again.

Just Ok, Def Overpriced
It’s ok. I don’t know why, but mascara is kinda my nemesis. I don’t have good lashes, they’re short and don’t hold a curl well. Unfortunately, this one fell in the same category. It was fine. It’s mascara. But, I still ended up getting a bit flaky, and didn’t lengthen for long enough to justify the price. It’s not waterproof. It’s currently over $40 and I can’t imagine paying that for it, but I dunno. My lashes didn’t clump, and it didn’t smudge too much. I’ll keep trying it and see if anything magical happens. Til then, self-adhesive flash lashes have become my go-to.Full disclosure-I lost my lash curler, so I’ve only tried this w/out one thus far, and will update when I purchase (or find!) one.

Very good mascara! One I got it as a gift and since then I only use this one. It’s usually lasts for a year, so it’s money saving in a long run. (Regular would last 3 months at least.)After a day of wearing it stays on my lashes and not under the eyes like the rest of mascaras. It hypoallergenic.
