This is a great SPF powder! I use it over my foundation on days I’m wearing makeup, alone on bare faces days. I’m very pale with rosecea, so the light pink works great for me.

I took this on vacation, so I used a base sunscreen as well, but I was very pleased with how this sat on my face. The formula looked nice on my pale skin (not cake, super fine – better than some setting powders!), set my make up well (used instead of old regular powder) and didn’t irritate or cause my very sensitive reactive skin to breakout. I just used this and olay’s sensitive skin moisturizer (on pool days, topped off with sunbum’s facial spray sunscreen) and I didn’t burn at all – in fact my face was several shades lighter than the rest of my body! The protective brush cover is super easy to use (ignore other reviews), its the same sort of pull up sleeve that comes on travel Kabuki brushes. I say whether it is spills, based on other reviews, I errored on the side of caution and put tape around the part that attaches the powder to the brush and had no issues. The powder came out if the brush fine during use – when I needed more I brushed the bristles against the back of my hand (as seen in the product info) – I didn’t have any problem with too much powder coming out of the brush. Unless something changes down the road, I would absolutely buy this product again. I would give it an extra 1/2 star (4.5) if I could 🙂

Sunscreen Powder Easily Sets Sunscreen
This sunscreen powder does not appear “pink” in its dispenser, however it did not create a white caste to my face or skin and did take away the tacky feeling of my sunscreen as a “setting powder” just fine.I did use it on top of other sunscreen, and I did not get sunburned (even when out for a few hours at midday).I wish the brush were just a bit fluffier. But it was okay.The product’s packaging contains an integrated sliding tube that you pull up over the brush to easily get the lid back on when you’re finished using it.

I love this spf powder. I wore it to a theme park in top of my Huda beauty easy bake spray. I was in shock at the end of the night. My make up looked completely fresh. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for sun protection and are struggling with your makeup looking oily after a few hours.

AVOID! Contains Kaolin which causes itching, rash and dermatitis. It’s the 3rd ingredient!
***RASH: I developed a red, bumpy rash with small, fluid filled, itchy blisters, all over my face.After consulting with an urgent care doctor, I was informed that the 3rd ingredient in this powder is notorious for causing allergic reactions. Kaolin methyl causes itching, rash, hives, and dermatits (itchy blisters filled with fluid, exactly what is happening to me.) I am appalled that any comapny would sell a product that is known to cause this. It’s going to take up to 8 weeks for my face to heal, according to my doctor.Previous Review:The casing comes apart when you don’t want it to, and cannot be properly tightened to prevent this. The powder shakes all over your clothing, making this impossible to use on the go. In part, this seems to be due to the filter between the brush and powder being rectangular, rather than round, so excess powder comes out the sides. Major design flaw.I ordered the pink, and either it isn’t very pink or I received the wrong item. The tube and the packaging are not labelled, so there’s no way for me or for the seller to tell if they’re sending the right item.The powder is very fine, and blends in nicely when blended with a different brush. Because too much powder comes out of the applicator brush, it leaves streakes on the face as well as clothing, floor, counter, etc.As a sunscreen setting powder, I assumed that it would be able to handle at least a light beading of sweat. It cannot. Instead, when the slightest bit of sweat reaches your skin, it clumps up, and will NOT spread out. The only way to resolve the clumping issue is to take it off entirely. The clumps stick hard, and will not budge. I had to take off the sunscreen as well. This defeats the purpose of a setting powder for sunscreen, imo.I ‘m trying to decide if it’s worth the trouble to return it. The entire point of this product, for me, was a single, simple, matte finish that could be reapplied quickly and neatly on the go. This pretty much fails on all counts.I guess I could try it with silicon primer & setting spray, to see if that will prevent the clumping issue, but in that case, it would be much easier to just use the matte setting spray. Why bother with the powder if I need to first control sweat, then set the powder with spray?
