Great alternative to blotting papers
I bought this based on the reviews. I had been looking for the “perfect” primer to reduce oil during the day with no luck so I decided to try a powder. I wear a significant amount of foundation, so my face tends to get oily later in the day. This powder prevents that from happening longer, and I can just sweep some on instead of using the blotting papers which sometimes can remove my make-up. I recommend this product. It is a little pricey for the small amount you receive, but you don’t need to use very much.

Great Powder
This is a great powder for the nose and T-zone that I use to neutralize the sheen from my BB cream. I apply it with a small brush in a thin layer because I find that a minimal amount is just right and a little goes a long way. I wouldn’t recommend it to people with dry skin, as it is made to absorb oil to create a matte finish. I have sensitive skin, and this product doesn’t irritate me in the least bit.

LOVE this powder!
I’ve read all the good reviews for The Balm products, and knew I had to try! I tried this product first and was disappointed to see the packaging was so small. I was expecting this HUGE palette I guess…Any who..still love how this powder glides on and sets my makeup. I stay matte for hours longer!!!! Ekkkk LOVEI can’t wait to try the other Balm products. Worth the buy!

Nice but too heavy to be a natural looking finishing powder
The coverage of this powder is much heavier than I expected from a “translucent” powder. It has a light-medium tone; I found the color slightly dark for me but I usually need the lightest tone makeup. The coverage level is medium. This is not a setting powder like you’d have with mineral veil from Bare Minerals or prep + prime from Mac. I tried using a dense powder brush as well as a kabuki brush and I found that both just deposited more of this product than I was comfortable with. Maybe a fan brush would allow for a more natural looking end result.Staying power was good even in my t-zone. No lasting heavy scent.In the end I just found this to be too heavy a powder for the finishing powder need I was looking to address.

I’ll never buy another powder again!!
I absolutely LOVE this powder!! It feels almost creamy and it leaves your skin feeling soft and matte! It does look pigmented enough in the tin but it brushes on translucent (Maybe if you were to put a tone on you may see some colour, but it is light). I’ve tried a few brands, high and low, and this is BY FAR my favorite! I also happen to love the fact that the balm’s products are cruelty-free and paraben-free!!

Great to take away shine and ugh from your face
This is a great product! I apply it once during the day, and it pretty much lasts until the end of my workday. I could apply it again, but I usually dont care at that point. It not only takes the shine away, but it also makes my face look clear and blemish free. I love using this either after my makeup or without makeup. Also, haven’t broken out using this. Although it didn’t come with a brush, it does have an attached mirror. Overall, a winner.

I just got this a few days ago and couldn’t wait to try it out due to the raving reviews. I have very light skin so at first it seemed a little dark for me, but when I applied it there was no color effect at all. Here are some pros/cons based on what I’ve experienced in this short time:Pros:Easy to applyDoesn’t cake or leave a powdery lookStays on really well on the parts of my face that aren’t excessively oily (chin, cheeks, forehead, etc)Cons:I have had similar results with other powders when it comes to my nose area. I guess for the price of this, I was expecting better results but it might just be the way my skin is. After applying this once around 7am, I usually have to re-apply around 12/1pm (only on my nose).For those of you with oily/combination skin, just keep in mind that some shine may still come through, especially on hot days. This is still the best powder I’ve come across in a long time so I highly recommend it!

A little goes a long way
I tend to have oily skin, so I bought this product. It works great. Only thing I recommend is to use it sparingly. I am Asian and have a lighter tan complexion. If I used too much, you can kind of see a white film on my face. But that’s only if I pile it on. Just a quick brush over does the trick! It makes my face much more matte. No sticky feeling or powdery feeling. I love it!

Honestly the best matte powder ever
Honestly the best matte powder ever. It lasts all day and I only apply once in the morning. If I am running around a lot maybe twice in one day but never more. Also, I think this powder doesn’t give you weird flash when you take photos like other translucent powder. This one will not make you ghostly and wash you out. I wished this product was not $20 but very worth it.

Bester Puder!
Dieser Puder ist zwar nicht ganz günstig, erfüllt aber all meine Erwartungen – meine Haut fettet im Laufe des Tages in der T-Zone etwas nach – ich kann eine glänzende Nase nicht ausstehen. Dieser Puder läßt sich ebenmäßig auftragen, dunkelt nicht nach und ich muß allerhöchstens einmal am Tag nachpudern, er mattiert äußerst zuverlässig, ohne sich dabei in Fältchen abzusetzen…perfekt!
