Healthy lashes are only this serum away!
I’ve learned that you cannot go wrong with Thrive Causemetics because their products are high quality. This Liquid Lash Extention Serum is no different. I am very self conscious of my lashes since they have gotten less full over the years, especially after having kids, so I am always looking for something to help my lashes grow and get healthier. This product has certainly helped my lashes to be more hydrated and overall better looking. I think it will take a lot more time to really tell if it is helping them grow a lot. You truly do not need a lot of serum, but it’s important to make sure you put it on the lash line and not directly onto the lashes in order for it to work the best/correctly. I have to say, for me it has become a very easy addition to my nightly skincare routine. I simply apply it after my face is clean and I have removed everything from my lashes. The price of Thrive products tends to be on the higher end, but it is absolutely worth the money! A little bit goes a long way, so this bottle, even on though it’s on the smaller side, will last for a decent amount of time.

Easy to apply & cooling. No issues & a visible difference after 4 weeks
This is the first lash serum I’ve used. I ordered it because it’s a trusted brand that’s vegan and cruelty-free (with leaping bunny and PETA icons/text on the box!), and it doesn’t contain certain ingredients that I would prefer not to use.There aren’t any scary warnings on this box about possible marks on the skin near your eyes, the only precaution is to avoid direct contact with eyes and to stop using it if redness or irritation occurs. (I haven’t had any issues).I found this clear serum easy and enjoyable to apply; it was cooling and I looked forward to applying it every evening before bed. There’s a scent if you bring the brush to your nose, but I couldn’t detect anything while using it normally. The narrow little brush worked well.I took a “before” photo with both eyes closed, hoping it would allow me to objectively compare any results along the way, but I’ve just realized, 4 weeks in, that it’s not a great photo and I should have taken it from a better angle, so I’m judging results based on what I see. I felt like I noticed a slight difference around the two week mark, and now that I’m at the half way mark I would say that my lashes are visibly longer and fuller, and I look forward to seeing what another 4 weeks will do.An icon states the serum will be good for 6 months after opening. The best lash serum!!
This is my first experience using a lash serum, and I chose this one because it’s from a trusted brand that’s vegan, cruelty-free, and clearly labeled with Leaping Bunny and PETA certifications. I also appreciated that it doesn’t contain ingredients I prefer to avoid and doesn’t come with alarming side-effect warnings—just standard guidance to avoid eye contact and discontinue use if irritation occurs. I haven’t had any issues at all.The clear serum is gentle, cooling, and easy to apply with its slim brush, making it a relaxing part of my nightly routine. There’s no noticeable scent during use and absolutely no burning or irritation, which makes it ideal for sensitive eyes. After about four weeks of nightly application, I haven’t seen dramatic growth yet, but my lashes do feel fuller, healthier, more hydrated, and slightly longer. The results are subtle so far, but encouraging enough to keep me consistent and excited to see further improvement with continued use.A little product goes a long way, and applying it correctly along the lash line (not directly on the lashes) is key. Even though the bottle is small and the price is on the higher side, the quality makes it worth it, and it should last quite a while. Overall, this serum lives up to Thrive Causemetics’ reputation for high-quality products and has become an easy, worthwhile addition to my skincare routine.

Does the job
I’ve tried a couple of different lash serums. The first one I ever tried was Rodin & Fields Lash Boots and it made my lashes so long that they hit my glasses and I just didn’t like the look. I tried Latisse, but didn’t love that either. I ended up with Grande Lash, as that grew my lashed to the perfect point and I never looked back. Until this lash serum. This is a very nice lash serum that actually works, but doesn’t make them crazy long like lash boost. I’m just not into that crazy long fake last look. The serum was easy to apply and all you need is a thin coating, and there is no irritation at all, which is amazing. My eye did not burn and I do have sensitive eyes. I think this is very comparable to Grande Lash, so it does grow your lashed longer and fuller, it just won’t give you the big false lash look.

Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Serum is a serum housed in a very thin tube. The wand is also thin, with a tiny brush that will line VERY closely to the lashline; touching only the skin, if you can. This serum is mostly oil, and it is extremely easy to smooth on. The tiny brush doesn’t deposit too much next to the lashline, and it seems to follow the natural curve of my eye.Now: the directions say to use this serum at night, and to avoid getting it into your eyes. I always run into problems with the oily serums. I prefer serums that are incorporated into mascaras. I have incredibly dry eyes during the fall, and I do use eye drops during the night. I did not realize that this serum was a night-only serum. I have tried to be incredibly careful, and apply it after I use my eyedrops, and have come to the conclusion that it’s very difficult to guarantee that the serum isn’t leaking into my eyes. When I woke up, my eyes were incredibly bleary (unusual). They weren’t irritated (good). But while my allergy season is here, I don’t think I can use this serum.The good: The brush is amazing. This was really easy to use, and withdrew the perfect amount of serum to glide around each eye line. Perfectly lined the lash line. Also, this is gently. I have extremely sensitive eyes, and this did not bother the skin at all. No redness, no itching, and trust me, I would be the first person to itch like crazy if it were remotely bothersome. So I am very excited to use it later.This is a REALLY pricey serum. I recommend it, especially for people with sensitive eyes, who want to condition their lashes with a vegan product.

Clean But Sticky & Irritating Formula
I like Thrive Causemetics as a brand and what they stand for, but I did not like this lash serum. Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Serum is supposed to help grow out your eyelashes without parabens or prostaglandins. It is a clean vegan serum containing 5 peptides. It also has Biotin, which is supposed to help with lash growth since Biotin is used for hair, skin, and nail health. Although there is not enough scientific evidence supporting this claim, I have taken Biotin supplements and in my opinion they really do help with the growth of hair, skin, and nails including eyelashes. I’ve used other lash serums besides this one and after using this one for 4 weeks I have to say that I like this one the least. Good lash serums are not cheap and you have to keep using them in order to keep the appearance of longer, fuller lashes. This serum is expensive for the size. It’s half the size of most serums, or about the same size as other brands travel or trial sizes. If you use this lash serum regularly for 8 weeks then your eyelashes should look healthier, longer, & fuller. After using this lash serum every day for 4 weeks I didn’t see much noticeable growth. My lashes looked a tiny bit longer, but not by that much. I expected at least some significant difference in length or fullness by this time compared to my other experiences with lash,serums. I wouldn’t recommend this for someone who has Epiphora, or watery eyes because it will cause the lash serum to get in your eyes. Although this is tested by an Ophthalmologist & made with ingredients known not to cause irritation, there is still a chance that you could be allergic to or aggravated by one or more ingredients. I had 2 incidents where my eyes started watering up a lot from yawning and the lash serum got in my eyes. The first time was many hours after I had put the lash serum on. It felt kind of sticky as it came off & I wiped my eyes with a tissue, but it was too late. My eyes felt irritated and I had to wash them out. I also had to use eyedrops after to soothe my eyes and get the redness out. The 2nd time was much worse where I woke up yawning after falling asleep after applying the lash serum just a few hours before. My eyes felt sticky and the left side underneath my eye was burning a little bit. My eyes got blurry and I had to stumble to the bathroom to wash my eyes out until they weren’t blurry anymore. I ended up with a little red mark under my left eye that was sore for a few days until it healed.I can’t recommend this product after using it for 4 out of the 8 recommend weeks it’s supposed to take to make your eyelashes longer and fuller. If it hadn’t irritated my eyes twice and hurt under my left eye I would’ve continued to try using it all 8 weeks or longer. Just because something is Ophthalmologist tested doesn’t mean there is a 100% chance your eyes won’t be irritated. I donʻt have sensitive eyes either, so use with caution.
