White cast.
I ordered this primer because I always need extra sun protection. I used it after my normal moisturizer dried, used a pump or two, waited for it to dry, and then applied my regular light coverage foundation. This primer did not play well with others. It made everything greasy and pill together, and left a white cast on my skin. I would not recommend this product due to the white cast and how it did not work well under foundation. It may have worked better under a fuller coverage or more thick foundation, but it did not work with my clinique even better foundation.

Lightweight but full coverage. I love that it has sunscreen. It’s pretty thick but smooths on easily. Don’t even need another step if you’re okay with light coverage.

I’m quite thrilled with this primer. It does everything it needs to, and it applies on so easily. It’s nice and thin so I sort of just feel like I’m putting moisturizer on. There is a slight scent of sunscreen, but honestly, I like that—it makes me feel more protected from the sun.Even without putting additional makeup on top of this primer, I feel like it evens out my skin tone and texture a bit. I wore this under a full face of makeup for a wedding I was attending, and my makeup held up so beautifully—most certainly in thanks to this primer, because I’d been struggling up to that point with my makeup going clumpy/spotty after a few hours of wear (especially because my face has been peeling due to retinol use).Long story short—try this primer out if you’re on the fence! It’s lovely. And I get to be that much more protected from the sun.

A moisturizing SPF 40 skin primer
This is a reasonably priced SPF 40 primer. Some people have mentioned that it leaves them with a white cast and a way I have found to minimize this (as well as make sure your SPF is properly applied) is to wait at least five minutes after the rest of your skincare has been applied to apply your sunscreen- this should be the last step in your skin’s regimen. (That is, if you are using this as sunscreen and not just a primer). I found it moisturizing (which is something my skin desperately needs) and also that as long as my other products were absorbed, this seemed to blend in well. That said, I am quite pale and it may be that different skin tones find the shades are not a good fit. I enjoy using the product and use it when I am going to be wearing makeup that I want to last as well as an extra layer of SPF protection.

Decent but kinda thick
I had really high hopes for this primer because I love finding products that combine primer and SPF in one step. The idea of having sun protection while creating a smooth base for makeup is a huge plus and was what initially attracted me to this product.While I think it’s a decent product overall, I just didn’t love it as much as I expected. The main issue for me is that it goes on quite thick. I was expecting a lighter, more breathable texture, but it felt heavier on my skin than I prefer for a daily primer. It took a little extra work to blend in and didn’t have the weightless feel I was hoping for.On the positive side, I appreciate the SPF 40 protection and that it does help create a smooth canvas for makeup. It also didn’t irritate my skin and worked reasonably well under foundation.Overall, this wasn’t a bad product by any means—it just wasn’t the perfect fit for me. If you prefer a richer, thicker primer with built-in sun protection, you may enjoy it more than I did. For me, I think I’ll keep searching for a lighter SPF primer.

This Touch In Sol primer definitely holds its own in comparison well to well-known upscale skin care brands. Packaging is neat and simple, the bottle does look high-end to me in terms of clean design and weight of the bottle. So far I’ve found this to be a good base for makeup, and could be worn on it’s own if you rub it in really well (the product is white/off-white) because it does have a good blurring effect, plus the SPF, duh!I wear makeup almost daily, and I typically use a lighter ‘stickier’ gel primer. When I first pumped it out onto my fingers, I was nervous because it reminded me so much of sunscreen. The smell is slightly sunscreen-y but it’s quite mild and I can’t detect any fragrance which I prefer. It does remind me of the consistency of other face sunscreens, but I don’t mind it. Upon application, I was pleasantly surprised that this didn’t feel so heavy. There is a touch of the sunscreen scent, but I expected it to be stronger. It’s heavier than my gel-sticky-primer, but it’s not bad at all. Makeup goes on smoothly over it. I’m not sure I detect any ‘cooling’ sensation like the listing states. In terms of makeup lasting, I don’t find this to be as good as my ‘sticky’ gel, lol, but it’s a good moisturizing primer and love that it protects my face as well.
