Almost favorite primer!
I have been using this on and off for the last month, and I have decided it’s my second favorite primer. I LOVE the glow it provides. It makes my skin look bouncy and dewy and youthful, even under makeup that’s more matte or satin. It’s scented but not in a way that bothers me – just be aware if you’re sensitive to scents. It’s a decently sized bottle at a fair price, so I think it’ll last a while. My reason for 4/5 stars is that I don’t feel like this has the grip and longevity that I need from a primer. If you need makeup for only a half day or so – it is perfect, and I actually prefer it to my #1 primer in the short term. But I was definitely getting some oxidation and smudging by the end of a full day. I’m headed to 2 weddings soon, and this will probably be my choice for events like that.

Works great at making pores disappear under makeup! Pretty luminosity!
I love this primer! I have been using it lately under my concealer and foundation, and it really helps to minimize my pores. The other thing that I love about it is that it really give my skin a nice “glow” without looking sparkly. It goes on very luminescent and absorbs fairly fast. My pores are really minimized and my concealer and foundation go on smoothly over my pores instead of sinking into them and making them obvious. I love how this makes my skin look! I’m very happy with this product and have made it a part of my daily makeup routine. It is worth the price.

Very nice, glowy primer
This is a really nice primer. I used Touch in Sol products in the past, namely the No Poreblem primer, which is really good, so I had high hopes for this and it did a good job. I prefer a glowy makeup look, usually just wearing a skin tint or light coverage foundation, and this did give me a nice glow that wasn’t overly effusive. I do feel like it gripped my makeup as I looked the same eight hours later without having to do any touchups. My face felt nice and hydrated as well. Overall, I think this is a really good primer and I recommend!

I think it actually might have worked!
I already have a base primer that I have used for over a year and have been pretty happy with it. But hey… take a chance on another, was what I said to myself. This is a glass bottle with a plastic pump lid. The pump works well. I learned over a few days to use about 1.5 pumps of product; a little bit goes a long way! This is thinner than my “normal” primer, but applied well. While it isn’t mentioned in the instructions, you need to wait for it to soak in and sort of “set” before beginning your makeup routine. I gave it a few minutes to absorb.I’m not sure I noticed a “glowy” finish once it set, as the product claims. Perhaps a little bit. I’m more used to my “normal” primer that has a great deal of “glow”.Before using it on my face, I tested it on the back of my hand. I included a photo of the packaging so that you can be informed as to the ingredients – lots of natural oils! There is absolutely no scent to it at all, which I really like. I did feel like my skin was more smooth, and yes, maybe had a little glow. I included a photo to show the “after”.I have used it several times on my face now. I really do think it made a difference! Typically my makeup will look freshly applied for perhaps 4-5 hours. This time, 8 hours after applying my makeup, I felt that my makeup still looked great! I confess, I was so exhausted that same night that I *gasp!* slept without removing my makeup. Honestly? Even after all night on the pillow? The next day I could still see makeup on my skin. Now THAT was impressive. I won’t be doing that again, mind you… but I might just have to switch primers!

Glowy but not a good primer
This primer has a liquid consistency, which smooths easily and dries pretty quickly with a slightly sticky finish. I didn’t notice any scent. To compare I used one pump on half my face including eyelid and none on the other half. I used my usual moisturizer on my entire face before the primer. The primer does give a more shiny glow, which lasted most of the day. I used a pencil eyeliner and blush. After a couple hours the eyeliner had transferred to my lid on the primer side but no transfer on the non-primer side. To me, this is a huge fail – worse than no primer at all.I also tried the primer on another day when I had been perspiring lightly. Later in the day I noticed my face looked overly shiny, which I didn’t care for.Unless I want a bit of glow I won’t be using this and definitely not as a primer. I was tempted to give it two stars but the glow part is satisfactory.

My New Go-to!
I have so many primers; several from Smashbox to Lancome, all the way down to one from Elf, and many others between those price points. I have skin that likes to float my makeup and let it un-grip itself with any accidental touch or any bit of heat and humidity. I found an oil primer that I almost completely love (best out of all the rest), but the price is unfortunate. Then there’s this one, and it tops it, for less!It dries on application pretty quickly, and it holds my foundation better than anything else ever has! Even on the sides of my nostrils! That’s a huge accomplishment. It claims it gives a glow, and it really does! My skin looks fresh and it goes without looking greasy or shiny.I’m happy that even with its stellar performance, it costs half the price of the oil primer, and it only takes one pump to entirely cover the face, which I consider a great value. I have a new go-to!

Caused Irritation for Me; Strong Added Fragrance
I was super excited to try this because I have read great things about this brand and I have been curious about it for a while now. This primer sounded perfect for me—moisturizing, provides a glow, helps makeup stay on, and by a Korean brand.I patch test everything, especially items by a brand I have not used before, and I am so glad I did because this would have been a nightmare on my face if I hadn’t. I tried this on my inner arm and the top of my hand first. First thing I noticed was that the texture was nice and had some slip to it and felt moisturizing, which was great. However, next I noticed the scent—it’s very strongly perfumed with what I will say smells like a generic body spray from VS or from a teenage girl’s collection of bad scents. It has floral notes, a bit of musk, spice, and maybe some citrus? Hard to know. For me, it was STRONG and on my face would have caused a big migraine problem and definitely eye itching. Why do companies want to make their products so strongly scented? Scents are so divisive and cause so many issues for people! Anyway, I decided to leave it on to see if the fragrance would dissipate quickly (it didn’t and lingered. My husband who barely notices any smells noticed it and said it smelled like “all the girl scents mixed together.”). Anyway, after trying it, I noticed that shortly after trying I kept itching at my arm and hand. I was starting to develop a bit of a rash from it in he exact places I applied it. I had to wash it off several times and apply a cream for skin reactions to help calm it down and ease the itching. I won’t be able to speak to how it works for keeping makeup on, if it provides and glow, or any other benefits because I cannot use it again. I assume I reacted to the added perfume but can’t be 100% sure that it wasn’t something else in it.I have given this two stars for the nice packaging, the amount of product you get, and the quality of the branding. If I try anything from this brand again, I will need to be more careful about what I choose and avoid any of them with added fragrance/perfume.If you aren’t sensitive to added fragrance (from a nose perspective or on your skin), this will likely be a lovely primer because it did feel nice on my dry skin. However, if you have sensitivities to fragrance, please avoid.

Glowy, but strong scent
Before we get on, a bit about my skin. I have dry and often sensitive skin. I usually have flakes here and there due to using Tretinoin. What I like about the Touch In Sol Glow Primer: it’s lightweight and watery, and it dries down quickly. I apply it after my sunscreen has dried down, and wait a bit before applying my foundation. Once it’s dried down, the finish is a little sticky like most primers. The glow is pretty decent before foundation. It’s a pearly type, and I don’t think there are any optical brighteners in the primer, but there are lots of different types of oils. It doesn’t pill, nor does it make my foundation harder to apply. I don’t usually check my face most of the day, and when I finally did (the first I tried it), about six hours had passed. My makeup looked good, and my face looked glowy. This bit is a mixed bag for me, more on that later. It helps my makeup last all the way til the end of the evening when I finally wash it off. Usually my makeup starts to wear off halfway through the day, and it looks a lot softer in the evening. But with this primer, my blush and foundation still looked pretty good. My usual trouble areas (under eyes and around nose) were also looking better than on non-primer days. And my skin looks less dry at the end of the day.The parts I don’t like: my face looks really glowy by the end of the day. As someone with dry skin, my face usually looks dry by the end of the day. Not dry is good, but I also don’t like looking like my face is oily. The glow looked fresh and pretty in the morning, and not so good after a full day.And then, there’s the fragrance. It’s a bit on the strong side, and it lingers for longer than it needs to. It’s a genetic flowery scent, not exactly offensive, but totally unnecessary.Overall, this is a good primer. It does its job, it keeps makeup fresher longer, it imparts a glow, it is hydrating. But I don’t think this is a repeat buy for me.The box is sealed on both ends, and the bottle has a pump dispenser.
