High quality product that provides beautiful finish
I am in my late 40s and have always had thick but sensitive skin prone to breakouts. My skin also produces a lot of oil. I successfully control my mild adult acne with a prescription topical antibiotic gel, but it does dry out the top layer. As a result, I’m constantly battling to find a finishing powder makeup that works well on sometimes dry skin surfaces that are also oily underneath, while also evening out scars and blemishes. And to top it off, it has to look natural without looking cakey or forming creases around the eyes and mouth or exacerbating dry areas, and not clog pores! I’ve used two products in my life that have worked for me: the old Corn Silk Transluscent Loose Powder that is no longer made (the “new” version is talc-based and is NOT the same – I’ve got a full container of it going to waste); and then this product. I am very impressed with this powder. It’s non-talc, and high quality. It’s finely milled and goes on super silky smooth. My skin actually feels more comfortable after I have it on than without it. I wear it over Neutregena’s mineral poweder foundation, which provides great coverage and is non-comodogenic, but is coarsely milled and doesn’t provide the best finishing texture. This product fixes the look completely and sets the mineral powder so it doesn’t crease or otherwise gather in pores or other “deep spots”. The finish this powder provides is also very natural looking – it’s a lovely, even, almost airbrushed looking matte finish that evens out skin tones. I only need to refresh it lightly once during the day, even with my oily skin. It’s not easy to find stuff that works well for me, but this does and makes my skin look great!

I’ve always used a face powder to set my foundation. In all the years, this is the best ever. It actually helps my foundation to perform better — it looks more like it’s adhering to my skin, not laying on top of it like thick make-up. And it gives it just a touch of shine/glow. I think the glow amount is perfect, like real skin would. It’s not oily looking or too much like other “glow” or mineral products can be (a little shine goes a long way – you don’t need much or it looks phony). This is my new and lasting Finishing Powder. I love it and will recommend it to others.

Good but…not great
Product for the most part works as described. My problem was it seemed to take a lot to truly cover/finish to see my foundation. I use different foundations and to me it did not set my make up as I had hoped it would. I would.have to apply a good amount of the powder. The white powder does disappear into skin pigment.

High quality powder and not made in China! Made in USA
Wonderful powder! Doesn’t get cakey, or settle in fine lines and wrinkles. Looks very natural. I just use on my T Zone, another plus is, it is made in the USA and doesn’t contain any talc. The container is pretty small, so it makes it a little pricey, but for me it is worth it. I never buy any makeup that is made in China. It looks so natural, you will love it.

For years I have used talcum powder until I found out how bad it is for us. So I searched for a white powder I could apply with a damp sponge and I was thrilled to find this. It works perfectly and has none of the bad stuff in it. It’s container is also great because you can control the amount of powder in the perforated tray so you don’t use too much. It’s great. Very natural looking and lasts.

I’m giving this product a 5-star because I am about to order another one. It a very good product. Great oil control. I always use it on my brown powder and would not have an oily face. I stopped breaking out when I started using this powder. Though, it small in quantity compared to the price but its worth it. I wouldn’t buy any other white powder except this. Gives your make up a beautiful finish.

Works well but messy
It’s really thick for setting powder but works really well. You just have to use a very small amount. It’s also pretty messy. I put it into a separate container because it kept exploding every time I opened it.

Very white
Not what expected. Very WHITE when applied. I wouldn’t consider this a finishing powder. Once opened the powder is easily spilled all over. Gives a ghostly appearance. Easy to over apply.
