Anyone see any Vampire Clowns??
I ordered this “CLOWN MAKEUP KIT” and when it arrived I was immediately confused as to why there were vampire teeth. To my knowledge we have had clowns like John Wayne Gacy, Killer Clowns from Outer Space, and even IT. Not once to I recall any attack of the Vampire Clowns….That said the kit itself seems to have decent quality items but what knocks this whole deal off for me is once again no directions. I don’t want to have to go back online to the listing to get directions. The kit doesn’t even offer an accurate kit contains details. Those mysterious beads which I pondered over for a long time. I assumed they were to go with the vamp teeth but how?? Even the online directions are basic at best. I figure for the cost the least we could hope for would be a sheet a paper containing some directions. I haven’t tried any of the makeup yet but I’m hoping for the best.

Terrible sponges
If you are going to buy this, buy your own makeup sponges. These are terrible. They irritated the heck out of my skin while applying the makeup. Many hours later when I went to remove the makeup, my skin was still so irritated from the sponge that it was painful to clean off, even when just rubbing with soap and water. But you’re going to need more than just soap and water, so get ready to feel even more pain.

Worked great!
This kit was fun to play with over Halloween! While it is absolutely perfect for a clown design, we chose to use the makeup in different ways (vampire, fun patterns etc) to test how well it held up and how nicely it went on without having to cover the entire face. The makeup was well made and we had no rashes form (which was my worry), washed off easily and overall was of a quality I’d want in this type of product.

A decent makeup set.
We got (and used) this for this Halloween (our daughter was a “creepy clown”.) While the makeup was just fine– and most importantly washed off clean and easily!!– the fake blood left a little bit to be desired. It is super, super thick, and it is absolutely impossible to thin it (at least with water), as it just clumps together. Other than how thick the fake blood is, though, we have no complaints and it served us well. Another Halloween in the books!

Very generic mix of items
This set was a little confusing with some items I just did not know what to do with. The face paint is fine, your standard generic halloween face paint, mildly pigmented colors and nothing outstanding. I liked the fake blood. I like that it included some brushes which were very useful. I didn’t understand what these white bead like things were that were included and even asked several people and they were stumped. Because this was labeled clown makeup, the vampire teeth were also a confusing addition. Overall this set was okay with a few decent items but I would not order it again.

Great Halloween/Cosplay Makeup Kit!!
I did an evil cat look with this kit but it looked great and I was impressed with the pigment and longevity. Super appreciate that the kit includes the brushes too. Honestly no negatives to think of, just a cool all-around Clown/Cosplay makeup kit. Good value and definitely recommend!

Good coverage Halloween makeup cream
I’ll be doing face painting for an upcoming event and wanted to test out some makeup paints that provide thick, even coverage without drying or cracking. This clown makeup set turned out to be a great starter kit. Since I’ll be using it as a base, I needed something bright, smooth, and blendable, and this works perfectly for that.The kit includes white, black, and red cream paints, along with a small bottle of fake blood, vampire teeth, two brushes, and a few sponges. I mainly needed the paint, but the extra items are a nice bonus for future use. I’ll be using my own brushes, so I didn’t test the ones included.The cream paints are easy to pick up and apply, and a little goes a long way. The colors are vivid, creamy, and easy to blend or build up for more intensity. I didn’t notice any chemical smells or irritation when testing them on my hand. I bought this VANERIA clown makeup set for a Halloween party and a neighborhood costume parade. I figured it would be good for a quick “creepy but cute” look. It ended up becoming the star of an unplanned sitcom starring me, a wobbly sponge, and a pair of vampire teeth with big ambitions.First impressions- The kit is tidy and comes with three classic colors. The white base is buttery enough to spread without tugging. The black and red are punchy and show up well in photos. The brush is small but usable for lines and the sponges are perfect for patting on the base.- The fake blood has that movie sheen. It reads as “fresh” and shows up clearly without needing a gallon.The funny partI tested everything before the party. I carefully applied the white base and felt like a silent film star. Then I reached for the vampire teeth. They looked great in the tray and had me dreaming of dramatic entrances. I tried to talk with them in and sounded like a confused bat ordering coffee. Umfangreiches Halloween-Schminkset mit sehr guter Schminke
Ich habe das VANERIA Schminkset für meinen 4-jährigen Sohn zu Halloween bestellt. Das Produkt kommt in einem wiederverschließbaren Folienbeutel.Die einzelnen Bestandteile des Sets sind verpackt in durchsichtigem Kunststoff mit entsprechenden Vertiefungen mit bedrucktem Papp-Backcover.Im Set enthalten sind eine Dose mit der dreifarbigen Schminke, 2 Pinsel, 3 Schminkschwämme, ein Fläschchen Kunstblut, eine Klappdose mit Vampirzähnen und ein Röhrchen mit Klebekügelchen.In der Plastikdose mit Schraubdeckel befinden sich 4 abgetrennte Kammern mit der Schminke – 2 Kammern mit weiß, 1 Kammer mit rot und eine Kammer mit schwarz.Zum Auftragen der Schminke sind 2 Pinsel dabei, ein feiner Spitzpinsel und ein größerer Pinsel mit breiter Pinselspitze. Und 3 rechteckige weiße Schminkschwämme.Die Schminke ist sehr cremig und dick, lässt sich dadurch aber auch sehr gut ohne Anfeuchten auftragen. Vor allem deckt die Farbe beim ersten Auftragen schon perfekt, was man von Karnevalsschminke leider sehr oft nicht behaupten kann.Da ich die Schminke für die Übergänge ab und zu mit der Hand verwischt habe, habe ich zwischendrin zwei bis drei Mal die Hände gewaschen. Dabei ist die Farbe nicht einfach von den Händen abgegangen, sondern erst mal immer mehr und immer mehr geworden, so dass das ganze Waschbecken schon ganz schwarz oder ganz weiß war, und erst beim dritten oder vierten Waschdurchgang ist die Farbe wieder weniger geworden und dann langsam von den Händen abgegangen. Darsn merkt man, wie dick und deckend die Schminke ist.Dadurch, dass die Schminke so gut deckt, ist sie auch wirklich gut und detailliert aufzutragen, ob mit den Händen, mit den Pinseln oder den Schwämmen.Die Pinsel sind auch sehr gut, die Pinselhaare stabil, abet trotzdem weich und gut auszuwaschen, ohne, dass sie gleich eintrocknen.Die Schwämme sind auch gut – sie sind halt relativ fest, wodurch es sich eher anbietet, mit einer Ecke des Schwamms aufzutragen.Da eh drei Schwämme im Set dabei sind, hätte ich mir hier noch gewünscht, dass die Schwämme verschiedene Härtegrade aufweisen, dann hätte es noch ein bisschen mehr Möglichkeiten gegeben.So gut, wie die Schminke deckt, hält sie auch relativ lang und verblasst nicht gleich. Aber trotzdem verwischt sie nach gewisser Zeit relativ leicht, vor allem, wenn man schwitzt, und so. Und bei einem Kind mit 4 Jahren ist es eigentlich auch klar, dass es sich öfter mal durch’s Gesicht wischt, usw.Beim nächsten Mal werde ich die Schminke auf alle Fälle noch mit Puder fixieren, um das Verwischen zu verhindern.Das Abschminken geht dafür, dass die Schminke so gut deckt, relativ gut. Ja, wir brauchten schon mehrere Waschgänge, und selbst da ging auf Anhieb nicht alles ab. Aber mit Waschlappen und Flüssigseife ging es trotzdem ganz gut runter. Wir mussten zumindest nicht extrem stark hin reiben, oder so. Aber beim nächsten Mal werden wir wohl vor dem Schminken die Haut eincremen, dann geht es besser wieder ab.Das Kunstblut befindet sich in einem kleinen Plastikfläschchen. Es lässt sich gut anwenden. Es ist zwar klebrig, aber beim Auftragen auch trotzdem schön flüssig, so dass man hier schon aufpassen muss, dies mit einzelnen Tropfen aufzutragen. Das Blut wirkt realistisch und natürlich.Es bleibt auch länger klebrig und trocknet nicht komplett ein, so dass man aufpassen muss, dass man nicht versehentlich mit Kleidung ran kommt.Die Vampirzähne befinden sich in einer Kunststoff-Klappdose, die etwas im Diamant-Design gestaltet ist.Die Zähne sind darin nochmals in einem Folientütchen verpackt.Die Zähne sind innen hohl, damit man sie auf die eigenen Zähne stecken kann. Aber ohne Kleber halten sie kein bisschen. Dafür ist das Röhrchen mit den Klebekügelchen dabei. Ich wusste anfangs absolut nicht, was das sein soll. Leider liegt dazu auch keine Anleitung bei. Erst durch Google habe ich erfahren, dass die Kügelchen in warmem Wasser aufgelöst und dadurch zu Klebemasse werden, die dann entsprechend an die Zähne amgepasst und dort fest werden.Das wollte ich aber bei meinem kleinen Zwerg nicht ausprobieren, und somit haben wir die Zähne nicht getestet.Fazit: Ich bin mit dem Set und vor allem mit der Qualität der Schminke sehr zufrieden.
