Have you ever used that cheap, kids Halloween makeup? It’s kind of greasy and really streaks. This is such a huge upgrade.This product goes on like foundation. It goes on smoothy, stays wet long enough to blend well, and dries matte. I have a dark spot and most foundation doesn’t cover it, I need concealer, but this covered it up in one layer. I do recommend putting on a thin later, smoothing it out, and going back for a second layer. I just used my fingers, but I imagine really good foundation applicators would make it even easier.I did get a little bit of build up on dry/flaky skin, but I didn’t do any skin prep. I’d recommend giving your face a fresh wash with gentle exfoliation before applying this makeup.I was a teenager in the 90’s with Anemia (later diagnosed as Celiac Disease) so I was always really pale and called “goth” despite not using makeup, but I also had friends who were Goth. Most teenagers back then did not use white makeup, but just the palest foundations available. Performers of course are a different story. However, this mixes well with other foundations to lighten them up, so you could add this to lighten up an existing foundation, and it would also be good for costumes or stage performances.This foundation had a light, but pleasant scent.I washed it off with standard hand soap and it barely moved. I did have to go back with a foaming facewash meant for makeup removal. I have had some makeup I needed a “makeup removal” liquid for, and this did come off with a more normal face wash, but you want something handy before putting it on.

I love this and I think it works really well. I will say, it does take a few layers to be fully covored, but I don’t mind as I usually apply a little bit more foundation in certain spots anyways. It blends with my foundation super well and easily! I also love it for Halloween makeup since this just feels like foundation on my face (like it’s supposed to) whereas face paint oftentimes just feels sticky. I usually just set it with a little bit of translucent powder and I haven’t had any issues with it not drying or anything. For the price I definitely think it’s worth it!

The best thing about this foundation is that you can adjust how white it makes your face based of how many layers you put on. I only wanted to make my face look a little pale so I put on one layer and it was thin enough that I didn’t feel like I was suffocating my pores.

I decided to switch foundations from L.A. Girl to this one because of the price and curiosity, and honestly I think I prefer this one.The foundation itself is a lighter formula, slightly more slick than L.A. Girl. It applys nicely with your hands or a brush, haven’t tried with a sponge.I set everything with baby powder and basically never have creasing issues. I’ve had it last 12 hours with little issues, just a bit of powder and everything looks the same.5/5, have been repurchasing!
