This was my very first time trying something from Yunjac, and I have to say the brand caught my attention because they seem to take a more holistic, botanical approach to skincare. They lean on traditional Korean herbal blends but mix them with modern formulations, which makes their products feel a bit more “skincare-meets-treatment” than just makeup add-ons. With so many Korean brands flooding the market right now, I appreciate that Yunjac seems to focus on cleaner, skin-benefiting ingredients that aim to nurture the skin while also delivering that polished finish.This Glow Up Prep Water is marketed as a bit of a two-in-one: you can use it before makeup to prep your base, or afterward as a finishing mist to add radiance. Personally, I’ve been reaching for it only as a finishing spray because my skincare is already quite dewy, and I don’t really need more glow at the prep stage. Used at the end of my routine, though, it really does give that noticeable luminous finish without crossing over into greasy territory. I prefer a natural look to my makeup, definitely not flat matte, but also not overly glossy since I already deal with oil in my T-zone. For me, this spray strikes a nice balance, though I do find myself tapping in a little setting powder afterward just to tone down the glow in certain spots.The mist itself isn’t the finest I’ve ever tried as some brands have pump technology that disperse a lighter, softer veil. It’s a $24 bottle for 1.69 ounces, so definitely on the pricier side per ounce. That said, you don’t need a lot, just a couple of sprays, so it really depends on how often you’d use it. For me, it’s not an everyday product but more of a “when I want an extra touch of glow” kind of step.In terms of ingredients, this isn’t just a cosmetic glow spray as it’s actually formulated with some nice skin-loving additions. Niacinamide is in here, which is great for brightening and helping to even out skin tone, and there are also soothing herbal extracts like ginseng and licorice root that have antioxidant and calming benefits. I also like that it has hydrating components like panthenol and glycerin to keep skin plump and fresh under makeup. That combination makes it feel more like a skincare step than just a makeup mist, which I think is where Yunjac’s philosophy really shows through.As far as longevity goes, I wouldn’t call this a heavy-duty makeup setting spray. If you’re comparing it to something like Urban Decay’s All Nighter, this isn’t going to lock your look in place for hours on end. However, what it does do is add back that healthy skin radiance when your makeup is looking a little too flat. I think of it more in the same lane as MAC Fix+, though this one leans glowier, which is exactly why I stick to using it at the end rather than at the start.Overall, I think this product achieves what it promises…it gives you glow, it makes your skin look more radiant, and it layers nicely without messing up your makeup. For me, it’s more of an occasional product than an everyday staple, but I’ve enjoyed using it and am curious to try more from the brand. If you’re someone who loves a dewy finish, I think this would be a good addition. For those who are more oily-skinned or prefer a natural-but-not-too-glowy look like me, it’s still workable with a little powder touch-up. I can’t say it’s earned a permanent spot in my routine just yet, but it’s been fun to play with, and I’d definitely keep an eye on other Yunjac products moving forward.

I absolutely love this stuff. I use it before I apply my foundation and then a quick spritz when I’m done. It is the best thing since sliced bread. It makes my skin look glowing and Dewey. I’ve tried many sprays and this one is by far the best.

great product! no complaints – very gentle and lightweight but effective
this is my wife’s holy grail for achieving glowy skin. she applies this before her foundation, and uses this mist to spritz her face throughout the day and has told me that this is an automatic restock product (she’s relatively picky, so that’s a good sign). in general, yunjac has really great products and are excellent k-beauty products that really highlight the natural/subtle/gentle characteristics of korean products that led to the rise in popularity of k-beauty! my wife said her favorite thing about this product is how gentle it is, and how it’s also very versatile. it’s effective for use prior to makeup application AND after makeup application. no complaints here 🙂

My favorite makeup prep of all time
Out of all the make up prep and setting sprays i’ve used, this is the best one i’ve found. It gives my skin such a beautiful, natural glow without looking greasy or heavy. I’m a cosplayer and during conventions it locks my makeup in place all day for hours while keeping my skin looking fresh and hydrated instead of dry or cakey especially around my nose. The mist is also super fine to where it distributes evenly so I’m not soaking my face. I also love that it has skincare benefits packed in, so it feels like I’m doing something good for my skin while keeping my makeup intact. I also pair this with the yunjac prep primer. I’ll never use anything else!

Nice product, better than most
This is a great product. I love the beautiful packaging and the easy way to apply. The formula feels very lightweight and dewy, and adds a layer of moisturizing to my skin routine, whether on top of makeup or just on bare skin. The fragrance is nice, though it might bother some. Another product from this company made me feel a little dubious about using it due to the stickers over certain words. This also has stickers but they are direct translations of the original Korean into English, which I appreciate. Overall, I feel this product is a beautiful addition to my routine and I would recommend it!

GLOW UP is right! I have a very specific makeup routine so when I test a product that goes into that routine I can really tell what its doing. After using this as the directions state before and after make up application. For example I use liquid foundation and a dry powder. after using this Yunjac Skin Perfecting Glow Up Prep Water my skin was literally glowing. At first when I applied to clean face I sprayed it directly on and was hit with an invigorating rose water scent and I thought it was sort of tacky feeling. Waited a couple min then applied my foundation and powder then I did a second spray. amd wow. im impressed. exceeds expectations. Face looks dewey hydrated and glowing, not shiney sticky or tacky. I feel this is much better than not using it. The spray nozzle sprays a very fine mist. The bottle contains alot and you only need 3 sprays or so, so seems the value should be good. Its very easy to use. Non irritating. I will use this daily especially in the fall and winter
