This looks so weird in photos, but it works so well.
This is sort of an unusual product, I was sort of dubious of this in general because the swatches shown on the sales page do not actually look that nice, like at all. I ordered this mostly because the ingredients sounded really nice and I am always searching for a more natural looking blush. I have fairly fair, very olive toned skin and a lot colors of blush that look great on most people, look terrible on me.Upon receiving this item, I was a bit surprised that the tube was about half the size that I was expecting. Its quite small in comparison to most popular tint products. At 0.5 oz total of product here, its VERY small. Its also pretty expensive in comparison to most, especially for a lesser known brand. The swatch of the actual product in the photos looks sort of coppery brown, dark, dry, and unfortunately “crusty”… Not really impressive. So I decided to swatch it myself. My swatch had a bit more moisture and less dryness to it than the one in the photo but the color looked equally coppery and unpleasant. It sort of clumped up in areas and covered poorly in others. A very poor start. The instructions tell you to swipe across the cheeks and then smudge and spread with your fingers. I do not ever use my fingers for makeup application but I quickly discovered that this is actually the secret with this product. You need the body heat from your fingers to get this product to spread well, otherwise it just clumps up and settles weird. If you do use your fingers however, what looks like an overly dark coppery orange mess actually turns into a very natural looking flush. It sinks into the skin leaving behind zero clumps of product or greasy residue, it just really looks like a regular flush to the cheeks. Its sort of magical and it seems to honestly be very flattering. If anything its a bit too subtle at first, thankfully the color actually builds well too. So you can go from extremely subtle to extremely dramatic if you wish with further applications. All in all, I ended up actually falling in love with this stuff despite all of my misgivings. I have a weird, difficult to work with skin tone in general and super sensitive skin. This product not only looks natural and very flattering, it also causes zero breakouts or issues whatsoever. I am a bit perplexed by this because it really looks awful when swatched.

I use it every day
This company sells really “clean” and natural products. My skin is SUPER sensitive and I am very picky about what I put on my skin. This tube of tint is really nice, although not for everyone probably. I have a warm skin tone so it’s good for me. It’s nice for a little glow and you can dust a little blush on top for a highlight or more customized shade.I’m glad I can order their products on Amazon because I haven’t had good luck ordering from them directly. I think they’re still trying to figure out the AI stuff.

Planet Friendly Packaging – Creamy Formula – Needs Setting Powder
I really appreciate the sustainable, plastic free packaging here. It feels great to make choices that are kinder to the environment. The formula itself is super creamy and applies easily. I can blend it out with just my fingers, though it also works nicely with a brush. The shade is a lovely cool toned brown, which can be surprisingly hard to find. However, the staying power is not the best unless I set it with powder. If I try to build it up too much, it can get a bit patchy, so I mainly stick to lighter applications for a soft, natural contour. There is no artificial fragrance added, which I love, but it does contain some essential oils. If you are sensitive to those ingredients, make sure to check the list first. Also, a tip from experience: because the tube is cardboard and the formula is soft, do not push too much product up at once. It is tough to get it back down without accidentally smooshing it.A nice option if you are into clean beauty and want a creamy contour with eco friendly packaging. Just know it may need a little extra setting to stay put.

Incredibly sheer, oily, hard to apply and doesn’t last
I wasn’t sure if this would work on me, being a brown color with hints of brick. My skin is fair and neutral-cool, so I normally gravitate towards pinks, reds and some peaches and pink-leaning corals. The tube is cute. It’s made of cardboard so doesn’t feel high quality. To dispense the tint, you push up on the bottom of the inner tube (from the bottom of the container; push the white part). It then pushes the tint up, but there’s no way to push it back down if you go too far. I did notice mine sunk back into the container overnight, but that may have been a fluke. The product itself was a pain to apply. The edges of the tint aren’t smooth, so I get a very patchy application. And, in spite of my fair (leaning porcelain) skin, I could barely get it to show any color at all, even after using a fair amount of pressure and lots of strokes. What did show up was slightly brownish, but it’s hard to say what color it would be if it were more saturated. As it is, it’s extremely light and honestly does nothing for the appearance of my skin. After applying, I noticed this left a greasy residue wherever it was applied. It’s not sticky, just shiny and oily, which reflects the light and sometimes makes me look glittery, which I don’t care for. The color didn’t last long, either. Since it wipes off so easily, it was gone within the first hour.I have to say that there’s honestly no part of this that’s impressing me. The packaging leaves something to be desired, the formula is extremely sheer, oily and hard to apply and the wear time leaves more than a little to be desired. I don’t feel like this is a good value at all.

Nice natural product, just not for me for a few reasons.
I’m always excited to try new makeup products because every now and then you find something that becomes a new favorite. Lip and cheek tints have been my latest obsession, so when I saw this one by Annmarie I was really looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, I ended up having mixed feelings. First, I do appreciate the minimalist, eco-friendly cardboard packaging. But while it’s great for sustainability, the functionality isn’t the best. To get more product out, you have to push it up from the bottom like a push pop, and the moment I did that, it slid way too far out and fell right onto the counter. Trying to put it back in shaved the sides off and made a mess. I can easily see this happening again when pushing it back down to close the lid. The shade itself is actually really pretty. It’s a sheer, natural brick-brown color that’s flattering and wearable. The formula is creamy and smooth, and it includes a lot of organic, natural ingredients like base oils, butters, waxes, and plant pigments. However, it also contains multiple essential oils like peppermint, citrus, rosemary, and geranium. I have sensitive skin, but aside from a slight burning sensation on my lips, I didn’t get much irritation, though I didn’t apply a lot because I was cautious. On the lips, it feels soft and hydrating but that light peppermint-type tingle wasn’t my favorite. That might be because my lips are dry from the colder weather, so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive. On the cheeks, the tint blends nicely and gives a very natural flushed look. I’m usually not a huge fan of balm style cheek tints, but this one actually looks good once blended. The color is buildable, but because it’s a balm, it can start to look shiny or slightly greasy if you layer too much. For me personally, it’s just not something I’d reach for over other products I already use. The eco packaging is tricky, the essential oils may bother sensitive skin, and the balm texture isn’t my favorite formula for cheeks. I do think the current $22 price (as of 12/5/25) is fair compared to other blush tints though. Overall, if you prefer natural and organic lip/cheek products and don’t mind essential oils, this could be a nice option. It definitely has some good qualities, clean ingredients, a pretty color, and a smooth formula, but it’s not the best fit for my skin sensitivities or preferences.

blend, blend, blend!
This review is for Annmarie Lip & Cheek Tint.At first I had my reservations before trying this tint. The photos look like they wouldn’t match my skintone at all, and the texture looked dry. The actual item is much, much better. I went to their website since info on the listing was sparse. There is a video showing how to apply – dab on cheeks and then blend, blend, blend, then applying the remaining product on your finger to your lips. If you want more color, you can always build on another layer. They also suggest placing their items in the fridge for optimal freshness due to the wildcrafted ingredients – however, I’d be sure to leave this out to room temperature prior to application. While I applaud the minimal packaging, I’m not thrilled with the pushup dispenser. It took me a while to figure out how to dispense the product, and then when I pushed up from the bottom, too much came out, with no way of twisting the product to go back down into the container. The second time I opened it, it practically all whooshed out on top. I was able to knock it down by tapping the container in a table until the product fell down; this lack of control over product is primarily why I deducted a star.I noticed a very minimal scent to this product – nothing unpleasant, it actually smells like the cocoa butter, so the scent may be coming from the natural ingredients rather than added fragrance.

Love the eco-friendly idea, but the formula and value just aren’t there.
I really wanted to love this product. The eco-friendly packaging is a great concept, and I appreciate brands trying to reduce waste… but the actual tube feels a little flimsy and cheap, especially for the price point. The formula itself was also a miss for me. It goes on thin and patchy, and I had a hard time getting even color payoff on my lips or cheeks. It looks pretty in theory, but the performance just doesn’t match the price tag.For $22, I expected something more substantial and more reliable. Unfortunately, between the packaging quality and the formula issues, the value just isn’t there for me.I love clean beauty, but I don’t think I’d repurchase this one.

Ann marie lip and cheek tint
This lip stick looking product comes in a pretty interesting package. Essentially a cardboard tube with a push bottom that can slide in and out. It is a little odd to use in application and maybe a little uneven due to how it doesn’t really sit in a set position. The actual texture of the tint is creamy and kind of a dark initial appearance but doesn’t seem to leave a lot of residual tint when rubbed in.This is the first time using this particular form of tint product so maybe our expectations are a little off. I guess in retrospect the product is listed as a moisturizing hydrating lip and cheek product as well so maybe if we discount the tint aspect it does feel hydrating at least if that is a more primary purpose. I think the base price is a bit high for what it ends up providing. You’re probably better off going with their actual lip balm product. I am a bit torn between 4 stars for what you get and 3 star for value.
