Pretty nice bundle of items
Although I ordered this for use for Halloween, I did a quick test of the contents. The eye shadow is densely pigmented, and went on dark and easy, and I only used my finger. The lip color is the same….a nicely pigmented black. I guess I’ll have to wait and see if it stains my lips after wearing it for an extended amount of time on Halloween. I may put it over a lipstick layer to have a barrier between.I don’t plan on using the eye pencil, but that’s because I personally don’t like pencils. I do appreciate that they include a sharpener though. It came with a liquid liner too, which went on pretty easily.For the money I would say it’s a pretty good buy for Halloween, but I don’t see why it couldn’t be used every day if Goth is your vibe.

Comes with everything you need but white
The ‘MEICOLY Gothic Black Makeup Kit – Smokey Black Eyeshadow,Liquid Lipstick,Lip-liner & Eyeliner for Goth’ isn’t bad. it does give you of everything to create the goth effect except for WHITE. Does not contain the white.It does clearly detail what this set comes with but since some of the models do have light or white makeups for their complexions, it’s easy to assume it comes with white but it doesn’t. That’s not to say this isn’t worth getting.This gives you all things black and enough material to make mistakes and try it again. For the price range this is in, this is hard to pass up. It will save you time in picking out various other components to make the goth look complete except for white.It comes with a little compact and at first glance, it looks like black on the bottom and white on the top. No, the top is a mirror. But, realistically, you probably would want to pick your own white separately to get the amounts you prefer. If you’re not going to be using white, or will be using light powder, you don’t need the white anyway.

Inexpensive, extensive, quality goth set
I’m reviewing the MEICOLY Gothic Black Makeup Kit. As advertised, it includes smokey black eyeshadow, liquid lipstick, lipliner, and eyeliner, perfect for goth, grunge, emo makeup, Halloween, special effects, cosplay, costume parties, and theater.I bought a big dress-up bin for my son’s family last Christmas, most used by his girlfriend and her two children. I filled it with wigs, face paint, makeup, fake lashes, temporary tattoos, costume items, temporary hair color, and more. They’ve been having a blast with it all year, and since it’s been such a hit, I plan to restock it as part of their Christmas gift every year. I thought this goth set would be a fun addition to their bin.This is a good-quality goth makeup set that’s hard to beat for the price. I tested some of the items myself. The eyeshadow is nicely pigmented. I haven’t tried the eyeliner pencil. I have sensitive eyes and use only soft eyeliners, but I’m glad it comes with a sharpener. The lipstick is easy to use and also pigmented well. Everything seems to be well-made. The makeup washed off easily with makeup remover balm.For reference, please note my picture to see what’s included in the kit. Whether you’re getting this for yourself or a gift, it’s an extensive set for the price. At the time of my review, September 10, 2026, the entire set was just $9.99. I think that’s a great price.

Complete gothic makeup set
I’m actually impressed by the quality and amount of makeup you get for $9.99. My husband and I are going to use it with our Halloween costumes but I gave it a try ahead of time. The eyeshadow is a bit thicker than the powder eyeshadow I usually use but it goes on easily with the provided applicator. You can put it on lightly for a smoky gray look or thicker for a black gothic look. I normally use brushes for eyeshadow but the applicator works better for this one. The eyebrow pencil is a typical black pencil. I think it’s great that it comes with a pencil sharpener. The lipstick is a bit thick but it still goes on easily and looks great. As far as taking it off, it is possible to do with soap and water but I found it much easier to take off with waterproof makeup remover. I wore the makeup for about 30 minutes with no irritation or sensitivity issues but I can’t really say how it would work on sensitive skin. Overall I would say this is a good product and a good value.

Long-lasting makeup that doesn’t transfer
I do cosplay from time to time and really wanted this set for a gothic event. I’ve used this brand in my eye makeup before and really enjoy their products, so I wanted to try this one out. What I like most is how long-lasting this makeup is. It really doesn’t transfer, which is something I appreciate when I’m wearing a dramatic look for several hours. The black shades are nice and bold, and having the eyeshadow, eyeliner, lip liner, and liquid lipstick all together makes it easy to create a complete gothic look.I also like that the makeup stays in place well but isn’t difficult to remove at the end of the night. I use a waterproof cleansing water and wipes and everything comes off easily when I’m ready to take it off. This is a really fun set to have for cosplay, gothic looks, Halloween, or anytime I want something more dramatic. I’m really happy with how well it wears and will definitely be getting use out of it.

I love this MEICOLY Gothic Black Makeup Kit! I already tested it out to practice before Halloween, and I am so impressed with how smoothly everything goes on.Because the formulas are waterproof, the makeup stays in place nicely without smudging or fading. The 4-piece set (eyeshadow, liquid lipstick, lip liner, and eyeliner) gives you everything you need for a dramatic, high-impact look. It is going to complete my Halloween witch costume perfectly! I used the black lip gloss over some green lipstick and it really gave it some depth of color. I also used the eyeliner to create the spider web effects on my face, which worked nicely because of its sharp precision point. Highly recommended for cosplay, costumes, or theatrical makeup.

Good value for this wide array of budget goth makeup
This is a neat little kit for your emo/goth look. Included is eyeshadow in a little compact (with mirror and applicator), a matte lip gloss, eyeliner, and a lip liner pencil (with pencil sharpener). All are in jet black, of course. Quality of the products are *okay*, but what do you expect for the price?

I am tickled pink with this black pallette. It’s only once in a blue moon that I find a makeup set so complete and effective. The grass is not greener in the other side anymore! I’ve found the perfect product right here!This matte black pallette makeup set includes eye shadow, liquid eye liner, lip liner and lip gloss. I’ve never really gone for the smokey look, I’m usually a natural look type, but after today that might have to change. Personally I think this line incredible!My 11 year old is planning on being a Gothic fairy for Halloween, that’s why we got this makeup set. It’s just perfect for that, but now I’m going to have to divine an outfit for the evening!!! And I’m super excited!! I think my son is probably right. I’ll be Morticia and I’ll dress my husband up as Gomez!!! So much fun!!!
