Broke third time i opened it
I spent hours filling all the pans, and literally the third time I opened it up the plastic of the hinge broke. Basically useless. Waste of money

I have been years thinking about making my own palette for travelling. I finally did it and I regret not to have done it earlier. Now my bath bag is so light! I would recommend a plastic cover for the creamy foundations but I just put a rectangle plastic card on top of my creamy bronzer and it doesn’t dry out. Thinking in buying more to gift. If you tend to travel with lots of make up get it

Just what I needed for a travel palette! I love the various pan sizes. I took out the mirror because I needed extra height for my lidded pans to fit for cream products and I have a separate mirror I use while I’m traveling anyways. I would recommend this to anyone looking to depot and make their own palette. It’s secure enough that it stays closed but also not difficult to open. I think it was a great value with the different pans and the mirror (if you use the one in it). Not too big or too small for travel needs.

Good quality and perfect for a beginner
Depotting is definitely a labor of love, so plan to spend a few hours working on your custom palette. The case quality is really nice and the pan magnets are strong. The hardest part is honestly just transferring everything into the pans and trying not to waste too much of your product.Tip #1: don’t overfill the pans! Bc when you go to press the powder, you’re going to get a ton of spillover. Use a paper towel and your thumb or a chess piece to press everything down. Then spritz with setting spray.Tip #2: just spring for a cheapy mug or wax warmer to melt down your creams and liquids. Or, use a double boiler. I was being lazy and just used a tea light and a plate+bowl and it took forever for some of my products. Especially jelly stuff like the MILK blushes.
