Glossy Lip Oil with Subtle Pink Tint, Smooth Finish, and Natural Fade Without Patchiness

This has quickly become one of those effortless, everyday lip products that I reach for without thinking, especially in the morning when I want something that makes me look a little more put together without feeling like I’m wearing a full lip product. I’ve been using it consistently for a few weeks now, and it really fits into that “easy but polished” category. For context, my natural lip color is very light, almost neutral-toned, so I can usually tell pretty quickly whether something has any real tint or not. On me, this gives a soft, very natural pink enhancement that doesn’t look like obvious color, but more like my lips just look healthier and slightly more alive. It’s definitely not a high-pigment or “going out” type of product, but for no-makeup days or lighter looks, it works beautifully. The texture is where this really stands out. It feels more like a gloss-oil hybrid than a traditional thin lip oil. There’s a little more body to it, which gives that smooth, plush feel on the lips along with a really pretty, high-shine finish. It’s not heavy, but it’s also not that super slippery oil texture, so it stays in place better and gives a more polished look.Right away, it makes my lips look smoother and more reflective, and over the past couple of weeks I’ve noticed they feel more comfortable overall when I’m wearing it regularly. Fine lines on the lips look slightly softened under the shine, which adds to that fuller, healthier appearance. It’s one of those products where the improvement is more about how your lips look and feel in the moment rather than a dramatic long-term change. There is a light cooling sensation when applied. If you’re used to plumping or tingling products, it feels very mild and not irritating, but it is noticeable for the first few minutes. In terms of wear, it behaves pretty much like a typical gloss-oil hybrid. The shine gradually wears down over time, especially with eating or drinking, but the subtle tint tends to linger a bit longer. I usually reapply at least once within the first hour to build up to the best color payoff I’m going to get, and then as needed throughout the day. I have not noticed any uneven staining or patchiness. It fades in a pretty natural way as the gloss wears off.The main thing to be aware of is that the color payoff is intentionally very soft. If you’re expecting a strong pink or more noticeable pigment, this will likely feel underwhelming. It really leans more into enhancing your natural lip tone rather than adding obvious color. In terms of value, this feels more like a luxury everyday product rather than something you’re buying for bold color payoff. You’re really paying for the texture, shine, and overall polished look, and if that’s what you’re after, it fits that role well. If you’re looking for strong pigment or a more dramatic result, there are other options that would make more sense.Overall, this is a great everyday lip option if you’re looking for shine, comfort, and a subtle, natural-looking enhancement rather than bold color. It gives that “your lips, but better” effect in a very believable way, and for me, it’s exactly the kind of product that helps wake up my face and pull everything together with minimal effort.

    Natural Shine, Shines Through

I love this lip oil. It creates a pretty shine that brings my natural make up look together. Its more moisturizing than your average lip gloss but it doesnt last too long. Its also a sticky consistency/feel. You do need to reapply in order to keep it looking fresh. There is no overwhelming fragrance if that bothers you. Its a pricier price point because its Bobbi Brown but I would say worth it

    I love bobby brown ……

So I love bobby brown products and all. And this is very nice and all, but I didn’t get any stain or tint. I know this is a sheer pink, but if anything my lips got darker. But not pink at all.Now the applicator has a punk tip to it. But it doesn’t color my lips at all. Also, I tend to like an oil feel to my lip glosses. This is a sticky tacky feel like thick lip gloss. It doesn’t feel as much like an oil at all, but I’m pretty sure I can yweek this into making it something I will like to wear. Because this is a thicker feeling “”Lip Oil””It’s sticky and you can feel that on your lips and it isn’t that pleasant after loving real oil feeling gel lip sticks. It doesn’t meld well or feel ultra smooth as I would have expected from bobby brown cosmetics.I really wanted this to work more for me, but I’m going to have to thin it out with a different lip oil to get it to a consistency I like.Super surprised about the name of the color too I think it’s bare pink and it is a clear goop that’s got multi colored glitter in it. The only thing that’s pink is the applicator, and if I’m not mistaken, these now I think about it adjusts by your pH, so maybe that’s why it doesn’t turn punk and turns more of a dark mauve color on my lips. It’s not even the gloss itself that changes. It’s the under which turns darker brownish/mauve. Also, maybe I should try my lip liner with it because I bet that’s why I’m not getting pink, I’m also part Cherokee Indian. Not a lot of Caucasian , so pink doesn’t necessarily look good on me anyways. Not light pinks anyways. Because my skin tone is darker. Than the average blue eyed blonde hair girls that can wear light pinksSo, I will come back and let you guys know how it turns out with a muave lip liner which actually looks almost identical to my natural lip color and see if that does something different, other than what I said, so far. It only turns my lips darker. And I believe I missed the mark in this , I did read about these lip liners a while back but never got to try one until now and I originally was thinking I was getting a clear lip oil. This is on the thicker side of lip oils. So be prepared for that.It does however last a good while compared to the other thinner oillierKind of sits on top of the skin also, it’s moisturizing, but it’s the thicker kind of you know what I mean.I’m not that impressed with it, sadly 😞 because I really love some bobby brown cosmetics, but this one is more or less I would need to try a different color maybe. One that would suit me better or maybe it’s supposed to turn my lips darker ? Not sure. But I did just come to the realization that it’s one of those types of glosses.I’ve tried it at least 4 times now, so maybe that opened my eyes a little and I’ll come back and let you guys know soon on what I think with the lip linerWell, I tried it. And it’s just making my lip skin change to a darker color. It’s not even the gloss that changes, it doesn’t color it to pink at all. Just dark brown/mauve. And turned the muave lip liner to an orange-y color. Didn’t look that great at all.

    Glossy and Moisturizing

I received the Bobbi Brown Extra Blushing Lip Oil in Bare Pink, and overall it’s a nice everyday lip product. The texture feels more like a lightweight lip gloss than a true oil. It’s not overly sticky, which I really appreciate, and it does leave my lips feeling soft and moisturized while wearing it. It gives a pretty, healthy shine without being too heavy. When first applied, there is a noticeable tingling sensation on the lips. It’s not uncomfortable, but definitely something to be aware of. It does fade after a little while. As for the pH-adaptive color, it’s very subtle on me. I only get the slightest hint of pink on my lips. Interestingly, when swatched on my hand, you can see a bit more of a pink shimmer, but that shimmer doesn’t really translate once it’s on the lips.Overall, it’s a comfortable, hydrating gloss-like product with a natural finish. Just don’t expect a strong color payoff or a true oil feel.

Nice lip oil, good texture, but contains menthol.

First off I love Bobbi Brown’s products and I was really excited to try this pH adaptive lip oil. It looks clear in the tube and goes on pretty much clear as well. It’s more of an oil than a sticky gloss, which I actually prefer. It feels more hydrating instead of just sitting on top of your lips like a lot of glosses do, and it doesn’t get sticky or gooey. On my lips it gives a very slight cool pink tone, but it’s barely noticeable. There is a little bit of shimmer from mica in the ingredients, but it’s subtle. I’ve been wearing it for an hour and it still stays on, which is unusual and a huge bonus. The one thing I really don’t like is the smell and flavor. It has menthol in it, which gives that cooling sensation, but it just feels unnecessary. I feel like menthol is a strongly divisive ingredient, so I’m really not sure why they would put this in their product. I would have given this five stars, but because of the menthol I’m giving it four stars.
