Hard to remove
This set of 3 face paints is perfect for Halloween. Used it on my kids and it gave great coverage and the brushes were easy to use. However it was so difficult to remove. Used baby wipes/makeup remover wipes/ eye makeup remover/soap and my kids were still left with a residue stuck to their face, particularly the black paint was impossible to remove. They were not fans of the scrubbing that was required to get it off.

Pigment can stain, but good colour and spread
Some pros and cons here. I like that it’s water-based, it applies easily and has strong colour. I like that the coverage is so easy to apply. With water it can cover large areas and doesn’t get streaky. Once dry it doesn’t smudge unless it is damp. It’s important to note it’s water-based, so water or sweat will make it smear.The biggest con is that it leaves behind some stain. I understand this isn’t uncommon with strong pigment face paint, but you have to scrub pretty hard to get the remainder of the dye off (though the paint removes easily). A solution would be to spray a barrier on the skin first, or use product like baby oil that is good at removing water based paint.Overall, happy with the colour and spread, but the pigment left behind on skin can create a problem so it won’t be right for everyone!
